I searched "faction" in the Sard. Sanitarium, and looked through the 3 pages... and saw nothing about this.

What I suggest, is that it is made possible to donate an amount less than 5,000 to your guild/alliance. I was just thinking like... why not let us put in 237? or 1,000... or 3531? Maybe a window like when you do a trade... it lets you type in a gold amount, possibly implement a thing "How much faction would you like to donate?" and you just put in whatever you want.

What do you guys think?

Itd be a pain in the ass to work in with the current system. Faction rewards, quest faction, the amount it takes to unlock the areas of Cantha, and the amount you get in the arena's are all based on the 5k increment. I highly doubt the GW devs want to spend a month or so changing that when they could be working on GW2.

It can be annoying at times, but really, it takes less than an hour to earn 5k- sometimes less than a half hour depending on what you do. So, it shouldn't be a big deal.

And what about a simple 'Donate all my faction' replacing the Donate 10k?
Since you can't go over 10k, it would work the same when you have 10k, and like the op says when you have less than 10k or 5k.

If you want other rewards, you could get them, then donate the rest with the 'donate all' button.

Hm... XD I got confused with Amber/Jade.

You can get 1 pieces, 5 pieces or all the pieces you can pay.

That could be done also with faction, to get to 0 points.

Can everyone who's just typing "/notsigned OMG 12 characters!!!" please re-read the Sardelac Sanitarium Guidelines which asks users not to try to just bypass the 12 character limit. All it takes is a simple sentence or two explaining why you do not agree with the OPs idea. Your cooperation is appreciated.

lol does not hurt much. I believe Anet do that so they dont have to store more digit for faction you have donated. Belive it or not 3 more digit for your idea does not hurt much but consider mil of accounts. Oh yes it does lol

I don't see a benefit of this addition. There are number of other things that actually affect the game that should fix first (think: exploits), so why spend programmer hours on this?

I don't see why this wasn't in it from the beginning, I hate having 73 Kurzick/Luxon faction left over and it just sitting there... glaring at me... menacingly...uselessly

What I see it's what Kendar Muert says.

Have you ever seen any number but 0's at the end of the amount paid in the title? This may is just impossible. Maybe the 'real' number is that one without the final zeros. So, when you add 5k, you are actually increasing that number by 5 or 50 or 500 or something like that.

Just get the 5k in AB like in 10-20 minutes... And 4999 faction isn't going to keep you from owning a town.

honestly, while it's quite debatable weather or not this'll be a useful addition (some might say yes, others no), i don't realy think it's a realy needed addition. There's lots of stuff out there that's way more important than this.

Im waaaaay too fond of the good feeling of having reached the 5000 yet again. And its not like that this will make you get faction faster.
