Exactly. Exploiting bugs in the game design and playing the game as designed are exactly the same thing so....
What?
So if devs gave everyone regardless of his grinding effort full storage of gold it would be exploit and not okay, and if devs give everyone way to complete everything regardless of skill is it how it was designed and thus okay?
what do you care if someone fails at PvE and uses Ursan?
Why do you care if someone sucks at the game and doesnt get any better?
i notice the whiners about ursan and pve-only skills are the ones that accomplished everything they wanted to do, and dont want others to achieve their elite status by other means.
I think you have a point there. I fail to understand what other reason there might be for players who don't wanna use pve-only skills themselves to deny them to others who seem to like them.
anet should just introduce a PvE skill called : GOD MODE(invulnerable with 50% more speed...and 200 damage aoe around u).
who cares?
by your argument...."you don't have to use it".
if you like it use it ...if not use other balanced skills.
by the same argument they should allow cheats....."you don't have to use them".

Yeah, because we can't care about the state of the game.
And we can't be worried about ArenaNet switching out the very core philosophy of Guildwars - skill over time - to it's exact opposite.
No, it's just because we don't want you guys parading around in all-black Norn armor and wielding a Crystalline Sword with a mini-Mallyx by your side.

your post and the post you quoted are the perfect the reason whinners whine about pve only. they dont want their achievement to be achieved so easy. Just as I dont want kurzick title to be easier to obtain
So many against the use of PvE skills, yet none of you can find a non ursan group. Why is that?
I'm reminded of episodes of the Simpsons - 'Won't someone think of the Children!'
PvE skills are not an exploit, have their weaknesses, require the titles to be of at least a certain level and are not 'god mode'.
If you consider them an 'exploit' or 'game breaking' you should take a look at the trinity builds that can also steam roll over anything in an area, surely they are also exploiting a weakness in game design?
possible solution:
- limit these pve skills just to eotn dungeons.
that way ppl also won't complain much about grinding titles as these titles will only matter in those dungeons (which are for harrdcore gamers and nolifers anyway) .
- or please limit these PvE skill to 1 per build. (like an extra elite)
....No, Ursan Blessing is imba to the max and i am against it, but this for ALL pve skills? Even UB doesn't deserve this...
The only thing that PvE skills REALLY deserve is to be dumbed down...well the ones that are actually quite decent.
anet should just introduce a PvE skill called : GOD MODE(invulnerable with 50% more speed...and 200 damage aoe around u).
who cares?

We already have a skill like that, it's called Avatar of Balthazar, duh. (joking).
im still of the opinion that the skill over time was for the pvp game back in the days when you had to play pve to get your skills
it had no conection to pve
Wrong, I see UB as harmfull to gameplay. Something that was not supposed to be viable in GW: manifestation of "Rewarding the grind". Reason for buying this game and not generic mmo in first place. Not only does it rewards grind, it makes challeging content not challeging at all, removing point of it being in game.
Just a note, Anet set their standards, and at any time, they can change them, and so this is more or less just your opinion to why you dislike Ursan, right?

(I don't like the skill Ursan Blessing.)
Consequently, doesn't this line summarizes this opinion?

Wrong. I does not matter if 1 person uses it, 10 , 100 or 1000. It will always be wrong. Regardless of that, people DO use UB for certain things exclusivelly ("only way to do something"), hugely limiting PUG options to the point when not-using it means being cut of content/HoM statues/etc...
Please know that I do not read minds, and I only interpreted this from your previous argument, which you have stated a condition as if the rest of the community uses Ursan. If you had no intention in using that condition, why even state it?

I'm basically interpreting all these from your argument. If you truly intended otherwise, what are you trying to say here?

Can you provide reasons or supports to why my arguments are fine example of it, instead of just claiming it?

That depends what you mean by breaking the game. If you are refering to the fact that Ursan has decreased the time to accomplish certain areas, which you held so dearly to, I guess it broke the game in that sense. However, I would only consider it as breaking the game if it was an exploit made through hacking or the use of a third party program. Of course, these are only our opinions. Whether if it's breaking the game, it only matters to what Anet believes as breaking the game.

Well let me recall my experience back in 2004. I made a Mesmer, a Ranger, and a Warrior, capped every single elites in the game and bought every non-elite skills, then I went and beat all the bonuses with guildies. Then I played HoH until I was rank 6, but PvP was too time-consuming, so I had to quit. I ended up with nothing to do, and so I managed to quit on three occassions.
Right now, I have never quit even on one occassion, despite the fact that real life is more busier. Guess I got more things to do right now and it is possible to do them now, and I'm not flaming you here, but I really don't want to go back to 2004, otherwise, I'll just quit again. I'm not trying to argue that nothing should matter right now, but my point is, there are really nothing much left with Guild Wars, and it is not like Anet is going to make anything new, so why can't we make things a little easier? It's not like you will care any of these when Guild Wars 2 is released, which is not long now.

That's rather false. I play a Mesmer myself, and when I tried to find a group in DoA as a fast cast nuker with a rank 8 lightbringer, no one would accept me into their group. Unfortunely, it appears that Elementalists with rank 1 lightbringer is much more superior to any fast cast nuker any day. And I don't think I even had an option to play.

That's rather irrelevant to the points I was making.

Secondly, nearly all the balance updates I can remember are PvP balance updates. Are you sure that Anet intended to balance skills in PvE, or is it just your opinion, since a few updates related to PvE skills have been made?
