A Drunk 'O' Meter
A drunkometer so us people that dont macro or guild hall zone can get the title.
perhaps an enchant type icon with a duration bar would be all thats needed - a very quick addition i imagine.

Nice idea, might make getting drunkard a bit easier, however i'm sure this has been suggested before.

I agree, for this reason as well as the originally stated reasoning.

I agree that it's needed for the PvE skills (Dwarven ones)
And it would be nice to have that effect otherwise to if you are going for the Drunkard title.
Just like the sweets give you a sugar rush and you see the duration, so it's obvious that ale should have the same enchant.

Already suggested many times. And I always agree. People need a way to know if they are drunk or not if they cannot turn on post-processing.
The 'final' version I think it should be done is this:
- Inscrease the 'grades' you can be drunk. From 5 to 30.
- Add 3 grades of 'excess'. When you reach those, you are too much drunk and cannot battle properly. You would be under a condition with the same effects as weakness, blindness dazing and crippling at the same time, but not removable until you wait 1..3 minutes until the level goes down. To show the effects ofdrinking 'too much'. XD.
- Add effect icons that show each grade of drunkenness: Not drunk, drunk, intoxicated.
Old system:
- Max 5 levels of drunkenness: 3 minutes drunk without drinking after maxing.
* 2 levels with no effect
* 3 levels with effect.
- Always blurs screen.
- No way to know how much drunk your are without the Hero panel and the blur.
This 'new' version:
- Max 30 levels of drunkenness: 25 minutes drunk without drinking after maxing.
*2 levels with no effect.
*25 levels with drunk effect.
*3 levels with adverse effect.
- Skills that have being drunk as condition clear the blur effect from screen (Drunken Master, Dwarven Stability, Feel No Pain Feel No Pain).
- 3 effect icons with the same borders as condition effect icons, but not removable with condition removal like conditions:
*Not drunk. Levels 1 and 2. Picture: Hunter's Ale. No effects. You don't gain drunken points while under this effect.
*Drunk. Levels 3 to 27. Picture: Flask of Firewater. You gain drunken points while under this effect.
*Intoxicated. Levels 28, 29 and 30. Picture: Human liver. This effect works like weakness, dazing, blindness and crippling at the same time, but cannot be removed. You don't gain drunken points while under this effect.
Hm... yup... that should do.. more logical, more comfortable, more fun...

^^ no thats not what I meant.
Just a drunk icon with the timer duration under it like any other enchantment.
All that stuff you wrote is not what I suggested.

/signed - It would definitely help drunkards who want to work on the title while out and about in explorables doing missions and all that fun stuff. Using the Titles window as a timer takes up space, but is fine for use when standing around town trading and chatting.

I know, but that's the final unified version of all the 'change drunkard' suggestions already made: Icons, more time without using the items, etc...

Some form of status effect with a duration timer for Drunk has been suggested many times. I still think it's a good idea, especially with the Drunkard skills, and for those who can't use post-processing for one reason or another, like me. My PC can handle the post-processing just fine, but the drunk effect makes me physically ill. I'm one of those people that gets motion sickness from low fps games that are 3D.
