Replacement for "Victory is Ours!"
In my opinion the latest update to GvG (victory is ours) isn't exactly the best thing that's happened.
I can only guess that it was introduced to encourage split-teams, which is fair enough but with 'sinsplit around (which was often used anyway) and the fact it's overpowered, it sucks the fun out of GvG a bit..
Anyways, my idea:
If it was upto me, I'd scrap "Victory is Ours!" and introduce the chance (i'll cover this later) of receiving a small, temporary buff (i'll also cover this bit later) each time you kill NPC's before VoD.
That way it will still encourage splitting but it won't be stupidly over-powered.
Regarding the amount of times you get these buffs, I have two ideas:
1. You have ..% chance of receiving a buff after killing an NPC
2. After killing .. NPC's you receive a random buff.
As for the buffs, here's what I have in mind:
1. For .. seconds, your party has +.. armor
2. For .. seconds, your party has +..% chance of performing critical hits
3. For .. seconds, your party has +.. energy
4. For .. seconds, your party has +.. health
There could also be one off effects such as party wide healing, energy gain, removing hexes / conditions, etc..
For obvious reasons, I don't think any speed buffs (IAS, movement, etc) would be a good idea as it would be a bit too over-powered.
And as stated before, you wouldn't receive these buffs during VoD.
As you could imagine however, this could also encourage ganking to stack buffs and overwhelm the opposing team. To counter this, there could be a limit to the amount of buffs your team can have at one time.
That's all, any input would be appreciated.

1. This is not PvE. Random will never or ever happen in PvP esp in GvG.
2. Change that WILL encourage MORE sin split.
3. Sin split is not a problem in GvG. Ineptitude is the problem.
4. The reason for "Victory is Ours" buff is against defensive builds where neither team can kill each other. Random buff like that will make a draw GvG match which it does not exist.

IMO, NPC's were made wayyyy too imperative in the Victory is Ours update. I mean honestly, the chances of you winning/losing a match is determined by one archer at one specific second during a GvG?
Random buffs are not the way to solve this problem, tbh. I'd hate to see an entire party gain +20 energy for 2 minutes or something, thus making they're monks pretty much undrainable, or + critical hits, thus making spiking so easy. Random should not determine the winner of a GvG match either.
the only way to solve the problem is remove ViO. It was a bad idea, and should not have been implemented. I applaud giving Archers Precision Shot, thus making them worth saving, but ViO was a terrible idea.
