Owning Land
What if in guild wars u could own large land masses (well mabye not LARGE but...). You could pay for buildings and stuff and and trees and plants and make like a training yard and add any monster u have preveously fought into the training yard and u could make a castle and design it u could make rivers and bridges and forests. And players can go somewhere in gw and enter a players name to go to there land or pick land of the week or sumptin to go there.

Um, while i would like to have some sort of "house" thing, i doubt that that is going to happen. At any rate, the general response will be: that's what a guild hall is for.
Also, if you want to design land/buildings, etc. get both a 3D modelling program (anim8or is a good one, i think that's the spelling), and some skills with it. This is just not something that GW is designed to do (player created things in-game, graphics-wise).

ure r8.... u shouldnt desine things but it would be cool to be able to make a constant home in a like larger - player metropola (like every1 having his own place) like it would cost a lot but would give u the chance to go farming or training, checking out skills on monsters near u... so that would be in a way cool but NOT A CHANCE TO DESIGN IT
geting a place of ure own would be cool but not hyper gr8...

Wouldn't happen, and adding monsters you've killed would make farming easier for the already rich, making them richer.
I can see it now...55's adding smites all over the place and tanking them all, omgz there's 4 ectos!!!1
/notsigned...it's not needed, and adding something like this would take too much time away from the NEEDED updates.

It could work if the "land" was instanced inside a town. The instance consists of 8 or 16 plots of land. When a player buys a plot this instance is assigned to them like a GH, so you can auto warp to it whenever you like. Multiple people inside 1 instance, no relation required between the players that coincidentaly buy into the same instance. Then you can do whatever with your plot of "land". No monsters though.... It doesn't really seem that fun to do. Just another gigantic gold sink.

well A.Net is kinda moving in this direction. the implamented guildhall up grades (which they need way more of) and the ability to "own" towns if your alliance works hard at it. i would much rather convert the guildhall into an actual gathering/meeting place for the game. owning your own land is not necisary.

No thanks, Guild wars will end up like sims ^^ All are chars are going to be making funny noises, and we are going to burn our chars just so the reaper can come get them. Then we will end up burning him for the heck of it.
(though it would be cool if our chars made weird noises when you talked ^^ )

I would prefer better options in the guild hall. I mean, whats the poijt of the stuff already there, yes its handy, but you can also just go to any major district for the stuffs. Maybe a place where there are 'challenging' monster bosses you have to face 1v1 [no loot].

Not enough land in the game to be relistic if you mean what i think you mean . Houses would be alright if they just made some massive slum to stick them all in =D.
