The ONLY possible way I see to allow players to go back to a 'copy' version of pre-Searing where the rules are post-searing and players never come in contact with pre-Searing players.
Why? They should have let players go back in time by talking to Simon the Scribe, but now there is a pre-Searin community and it's too late to make that change.
But allowing players to go back to anywhere is cool, so they should simply copy and paste the areas, giving the monsters +20 levels.
Just that.

I stick to my idea of an Pre Searing copy (no interract with real pre-people) because I like the pre searing maps But I don't want to start a new character just for pre-searing because I don't like low levels.
And with lvl 20+ pre-monsters and only a Max. 2 people party it will be quite hard & fun to do also.
Elite Area ftw.

How about after you've beaten prof you can talk to an ncp to warp back to pre-searing and temp drop you back to lvl 0 and no skills.
Give me a chance to get my survivor on my original characters.
Then talk to the npc to get back to your previous state.
I know its never going to happen but i can dream.

Don't they also tell you IN RED that you won't be able to change your secondary profession once you choose it?
Not saying this is a good idea, besides screwing up the economy and whatever else, would be nice (aka BAD) to have all the tomes that you could ever want in presearing too.
/notsigned (HM pre isn't needed either)

Yeah, and the Ring of Fire Islans were destroyed and went back underwater, yet you can go back there 6 years before that.
Try again.

Just make a perma-Pre character. You can have a level 20 in Pre... That's why there's a title.

/signed only if the pre-Searing you'd enter would be separate from the pre-Searing we have now, like how it's separate from the rest of the GW universe. A method of switching back and forth would be necessary, and it would also be a nice bonus if we could have a second means of earning LDoA in that second pre-Searing. Could be something after the Titan quest chain.

Too bad half the reason we loved pre was how the enemies weren't hostile so you could roam freely and sightsee, and an elite version would probably be the opposite...

damn i sure wish but i doubt they would do this to many jerks disagreeing!
this would be good as long as we get reverted to lvl 10 as long as we stay in pre and lose any after-pre gear but we get to keep skills.

We're jerks because we disagree? How closed-minded of you.
There are still places that are just as pretty as Pre-Searing. I recall a popular 55-farming location... Plus, there are places in EotN that are at least as pretty as Pre. But as I said before, if you must go back to Pre, do it by making another character.

There's no point in "going back." These people are pretty much saying that they want to go back just because it's pretty... Well, make another character, and you can see it all again. Miracle!

I wouldnt like it to be a permenant feature, Pre-searing has its own economy, if you could warp back there you'd bring in bags and storage kits max weapons etc etc it would ruin the newbieness that is "pre".
I do wish however that maybe they'd host a special event or festival there where you could travel back for one day (perhaps needing an empty inventory and weapon slots in order to do so)
