Huge Pre Concept A Must Look!
This is a Concept ossociated with the Title "Legendary Defend of alscalon". the Ldoa title is a highly respected title and is hard to gain, though there are guides it's bases runs around Death Leveling(see link).
i was thinking that mabye 2 titles instead of one. the title would be named "Defend of Ascalon" and would still require level 20. They way this would work is a quest called "The Charr Backline" were you would either run or fight your way through the char in the "The Nothernlands."
The Scavengers Inn. is a new outpost
NPC:
Merchant.
Weaponsmith.
Tarnik Charr tanner.(Quest)
Party Size:
1...4
The Scavengers Inn(What it looks like)
The scavengers Inn is a small room, looking like a small old style house. it has thatched roofing and a chimmney always bellowing smoke. in the inside it is empty acept a merchant behind a bar. There is a man in torn clothing in the corner with the name "Tarnik Charr tanner". it's is warm and cosy.
Info on The scavengers Inn
It is only acceable from a new quest that you gain at level 15 called "The Inn's defender". in this quest you must beat a level 12 charr boss that is attacking the inn.
Difference from Ldoa
The diffrence from Doa and Ldoa is that Ldoa once you accept the quest "The Inn's defender" you can no longer gain the title. the next quest from "Tarnik Charr tanner" raises all char levels to level 12 and bosses to 15. This then makes it easier to gain the title but not have the full Ldoa title, but still show your Doa title.
Ldoa
This Title shall stay the same though once fully gaining the title you can acess the Inn.
The Northenlands(While having the quest from "Tarnik Charr tanner")
It shall look the same though similar to Hard Mode all enemys will gain more levels making it easier to level. Also the +2more allies helps in leveling.
The End
A new Exit shall be open called "Entering The searing" only possible once gaining the level 20 cap in pre. instead of going with Ruick you are to guide Ruicks father "King Adelbern" Through the searing killing Charr and Grawl as the try to attack the "Caravan".
My reason for this
I love pre it is a lovely looking place. i would love for pre to be a more indept place, and the title Ldoa to be easier to gain.
What Why Huh Shh Oh

LDoA was never meant to be something that would keep people in pre forever (which pre is more of a tutorial area than an actual part of the campaign). It was kind of more of a reward for people who figured out how to exploit the charr and get to lvl 20 while still in pre searing, never something to detract from the actual game.
Basically, I don't see the point of adding this, and it would take a lot of time and money from Anet, and I'd rather see them working on GW2.

yes i that anet would spend alot of time on GW2 but there is still GW1 to care about!. also i think Ldoa now is a more popular title and i also think having another choice would be better!

What I'm trying to say is, I might have supported this suggestion 2 years ago, but it's just too late now. They'd have to put about a half dozen devs, and probably a fair chunk of money into this project which could be better used elsewhere.

I agree that Death Leveling is a bad game mechanic, the problem is that it's essentially done afk so no real playing occurs. Major changes to Pre-searing are not going to happen as the dev team are working on GW2, you might be able to get a minor change. One easy way to not require death leveling would be to make just one of the Charr bosses level 14 instead of level 10. A very easy mod for the developers, and the end result would be a method although very slow, of getting to level 20. The good players could even retain survivor with that simple mod.
I suggest lobbying Gale or Andrew about a simple mod like that.

/unsigned. Unncessary at this point in time. First and foremost it is a tutorial area, people have simply chosen to stay there. There is also no equivalent for people who only own the other campaigns and updates from now on should be game wide, so as not to ostracize a player base who are future potential clients.

Bleh. Why that? Just add Piken Square there, and some collectors for the items in the North Lads.

For new content like this it should be accsesable to the majority of the game rather than a small starter area.

Yeah really, since when, as a society, do we not reward people for being clever and intelligent? Good thing THAT'S never happened, huh?
I'm signed for this by the way. We need more meaningful content then just mindless AFK grind. I've never done this title because I don't like the idea of AFKing to get something cool. I've always believed that you work for the stuff you want like everyone else. But I know a guildie or two going for this title.

We don't need more pre-searing. This addition would just be...really unnecessary.

Expanding in any way a part of the game many players can never reach again without deleting their chars or buying new slots is dumb.
What about LDOA then I hear you say?
LDOA is dumb too. It is NOT a respected title. It is NOT hard to get. It is TIME CONSUMING to get. There's a difference.
If we HAVE to have LDOA, and we want there to be a way to get it that doesn't rely on exploiting a loophole over and over again while mostly afk, the simple answer would be to enable HM in pre to up mob level (but without the usual HM drops)

although it may be a "vibrant community" it's all people that haven't figured out it's just a tutorial. It's like if everyone just replayed the obstacle course and firing range in CoD4 and was just like "OMGWTFSAUCE! DIS IZ T3H B0MBZ0R!! WHO CARES ABOUT THE REAL MISSIONZ?!?!?"
Seriously though, presearing is about .8% of the game, and should be treated as such.

Everyone knows it started off as a tutorial like Shing Jea and Kamadan. It's a self contained environment a character can never return to so many people keep characters there permanently, at any given time there are more zones active than half the towns in the other campaigns! Been to most towns in Factions lately? Pre-searing is more popular than 3/4 of those.
Doing a simple mod in Pre-Searing like bumping one Charr boss a few levels to enable people get the LDoA title without having to resort to afk grinding is an easy way for A.net to instantly sell more extra character slots!
