The chains are the worst thing about playing an assassin. Why do you think all they do is go for insta-gib builds? The attack chains force them into it.

Basically you mean something like this?
[skill]Sever Artery[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Final Thrust[/skill]/[skill]Galrath Slash[/skill]?
or
[skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Standing Slash[/skill][skill]Sun and Moon Slash[/skill][skill]Dragon Slash[/skill] etc?
Warriors=/=Assassins
Assassins have attack chains because that is the way ANet made them. Warriors don't because they don't need them. Most of the time they have a chain anyways whether they realize it or not. To limit a warrior would completely screw them over. When a sin gets a off-hand attack blocked they have to wait for their lead attack to recharge. Warriors have to wait on adrenaline. Making them have chains as well would be bad even if you gave them certain buffs.

You say that, but how many Warriors out there actually use something other than the same few axe/sword/hammer skills? As much as you say you like freedom, Warrior bars are in a terrible state of stagnation.

agreed
putting attack chains makes warriors nothing more than sins with more armor and no crit strikes?
so whats the whole idea of that then

Yes, but they still have the freedom to use the skills on those bars in almost any order they please and still have them be effective in some manner.

too add to the stagnation
do you think this will change the stagnation
sins are the worst when it comes to being in stagnation. warriors should not be forced into that lame thing

With something like Bulls-Eviscerate-Bodyblow, I would hate to see it go into a L-O-D combo. The power of the warrior is that you don't need to hit the first attack to hit the next as long as you have the adren built up. That allows for better half spikes and fake spikes, and more depth in strategy compared to the one-dimensional hit or miss assassin.

Exactly. Warriors already have attack chains (of sorts).

If you look at assassins skills, Chaining and dagger attacks is the only exclusive types of skills they have. There is no need to reduce that.

You have the ability to make attack chains on warriors. If you need the skill description to be altered so it can hold your hand as you create a skillbar, play another class.

The game does not create your 'state of stagnation'. The meta does.

They don't come built with adrenaline on the first strike, they have to build it up first. While building it up they have to WAIT on it. >.>

A warrior can stand to have at least one energy attack on his/her skill bar, so you could start with that... Or use a shout that increases adrenaline, or you could use a Furious prefix.
Really don't have to wait that long... Are you really that impatient?

May I ask something?
Why would you want to do a major class overhaul with GW2 so close on the horizon?
