GW2: What would you like to see in this game?
Hi!
Do not know is there any related subject so I'll create1 My wishes to GW2:
1. In game Auction House (You leave your item, set a minimum price and check from time to time is it already sold )
2. Massive Wars like I saw in other mmo games (two side of conflict and 250+ vs 250+) They could be organized once or twice a week.
3. Individual character look (something like "My asura has longer ears than yours") age of characters which could influence to character's look.
4. Unique Items and unique upgrades. I mean real unique which can not be replaced with any pvp created item. At the moment in Guild Wars you can see running clones. I would like to have fully personalized character with only mine look and only mine items set.
5. Guild can own a city like in Factions at the moment. When player enters a town a message appear: “This city belongs to Hellfire Impact guild” Which must be defended by the guild (every Saturday at 6pm) 5-10% taxes from everything that is sold/buy in town will be given to the guild.
6. Personalization of guild hall – from a small village to a great castle.
7. Familiars and pets which you can ride on(horses, small flying dragons, running beasts)
Now it’s your turn :P

Player Crafting would be amazing - Like cooking/woodworking/mining/armor crafting/fishing - stuff like that.

Why the hell would you want to do that in a game? I always thought games were to get away from reality...

Personally although those can be fun at times overall I think it drags down the experience and adds to much down time to the game.
I would like to see it incorporated into NPC's so that you can have them customize it (more so than what they can do currently)

Okay first off....
You are trying to personalize GW asclose to other MMORPG's, but you want GW to contain a little bit of everything.
Auction House - WoW thing
City being defended by a guild and taxes - a complete copy off from Lineage II, with the only exception that in Lineage II you have to conquer a city castle.
Pets which you can ride - Mounts in WoW and Lineage II. Exact same shit.
The only thing You listed that I presonally support, is the character personalizing addition. It would be interesting if every person would be running around with a different set and a unique look.
Other than that, everything else you listed is just a ripoff from other games, mainly WoW and Lineage II.
As I mentioned, only the character personalizing is what I support, everything else is a ripoff.
The developers should try and make GW a unique game with additions other games don't have and not copy stuff off other games like WoW and other MMORPG's with a huge sale.
Because I believe thats what the whole community wants. If GW turns into a WoW or L2, we might aswell go play any one of those, because that makes GW not a unique game, it'll be like every other MMORPG out there and the game wouldn't have anything to attract players with.
And to jbcf05, this is not runescape. Go play that children game if you want woodworks and mining.
Cheers.

There was a similar thread two or three weeks ago which already got many pages of response. I don't think it's necessary to start a new one every week.

Heroes weren't around at the start. Never needed them. Just a headache to micromanage. Don't want to play every class? Well thanks to heroes you have to.

How about the ability to change pets out much like weapons. That way you don't have to always look at the same pet, and you can change it w/o having to cap and level it up again.
