If they have time to implement. Could be busy with all the other things though...

Walking option would be nice. There's no reason for it not to be implemented.

i noticed people saying that it wouldnt hurt anyone if they implemented this, when in actuallity, it hurts everyone. there are bigger problems with GW than not being able to walk.

Touche. It's ANet's and only ANets problem to decide if something is done or not.
We are here to decide if people would like and use something.
And I assure you this would be liked and used.
A whole lot.

It's not needed, and there are a lot of other things that need fixing.

Ah Kain, it's never too late for Anet to piss off half the community by adding strange new features.

I remember doing the event at wintersday in Lion's Arch where you follow the guy in a circle in the plaza and listen to him talk. I remember thinking "I'd like to actually walk WITH him instead having epileptic seizures and flinging myself at him every four or five seconds..."

Yes, like new armor and weapons skins. Those don't help gameplay, yet everyone goes ape over them. That's probably the sole reason why a lot of people bought GWEN and/or the BMP. Those are types of things that define your character. How your character moves about is just another way of doing that.
Why should I always look like I'm running late or training for a marathon when I'm moving around town?
There are already conditions in the game like hexes and ice that toggle the walk animation. Why not just assign a keystroke or emote to do the same thing? It really isn't that hard to do. It would likely take them a hell of a lot less time than it probably did to go and rewrite all of the skill descriptions. And like people said, if they are doing things like skill descriptions and fixing signposts, it certainly can't hurt to do something minor such as this.
Besides, from a programmer's perspective, sometimes little side jobs like this are a welcome change of pace. It helps prevent things like burnout, which is bad.

And if they have time to do things like fix Cynn's dress, I want them to fix my Dervish's left arm. It looks like a twisted grotesque stick on half the emotes I do with her
