If you made the energy that high, lower the dmg and health gain a bit. Otherwise /signed

Nowhere near, the 50hp is nothing.

Most definately. It'd be my favorite Channeling Magic skill.

I actually feel the health gain is definitely nice, but something I'm suprised nobody has mentioned is the fact you need to hold an item. An ele does use a lot of spells that cost a lot of energy, but typically has a massive amount of energy to begin with. (100+), whereas a Rit has ~50-55 with runes and insignias + staff. However, when carrying an item you lose the benefit of your staff, meaning you lose about 20 energy. So now the same rit is down all the way to ~30 energy before casting any spells. Now take into consideration if you die once and have a 15% penalty. That means the Ele has 85 en whereas the rit now has 26. The Ele lost 15% of their potential energy but the Rit is at almost half their potential energy (52%). I don't understand how you guys can say there isn't an energy problem when a 10e spell is a third of their energy.

And while Energetic Was Lee Sa can be useful since you gain +2 energy, the item can't be used in a Caretaker's build for a lot of reasons. First, it's spawning based. You need high channeling and high restoration (for self heal, Caretakers is not reliable at all to keep you alive), meaning you won't be able to hold the item long so the energy gain won't surpass the 10e cost of the spell. Second, the respawn is 20 seconds when at best you get 13 seconds, but in any build you'll get 3~4. That means you have 16 seconds of downtime and any Caretakers build requires an item to be held. That means you'll need to include another item spell in your build.

Now Ancestor's rage and splinter weapon can be overpowering, but this is about the elite. Ritualists don't benefit from splinter weapon, it's useful for other classes (especially rangers). So when I'm doing AB or PVE I rarely bring it unless I'm told to because when you're alone in a group it's useless. What ANet needs to do is they need to either make the recharge 2 seconds or reduce it to 3 and increase the energy gained to 7 to help replace energy lost in spamming the rather weak attacks rits have. Renewable Surge is great since it's an instant renewal but damage is rather weak and channeled strike is great but costs 1/3 of your energy (assuming you haven't died).

I realize that ANet is highly unlikely to buff anything but I really would like to see this one buff because I enjoy playing it on my rit but it's rather useless in it's current state.

Energy from mindblast allows you to get that 50HP too. It called USING that energy

Energy than can be used for variety of purposes >> fixed effect that you don't really need most of the time.

Channeling energy regain skills:
[skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] , [skill]Signet of Spirits[/skill] , [skill]Caretaker's Charge[/skill]
and now you want to buff up caretaker's because Rits need more or better energy regain skills?

We're not petitioning for new skills, we're stating that Caretaker's Charge is extremely weak in its current state. Skills such as Mind Blast are much more effective and there is no reason for it. OoS and Signet of Spirits are elites so contribute nothing to energy management. Rits really need a boost in skills like this to make them more viable in PVP (besides running flags).
