Next to each players name in the party list is a coloured square. Each person has a different colour. When each person draws on map they draw in this colour.

This will have some benefits - such as when 2 ppl draw at same time indicating different things, you know who is indicating each thing.....

....and more importantly....when someone draws stupid things on map (e.g 12 yr olds drawing penises) you will know ho to kick next time.

As long as the colors are distinct from each other and not just different shades. I am partially colorblind, but can at least tell the difference in red and blue for example.

Too many colours imo.
Would prefer to have a filter in the party so you can block drawings from certain members

I agree for the direction in which you're thinking, but not with exactly your idea itself. The color next to each player's name i'm not sure about, but a way to distinguish which party member is drawing what on the compass, yes.

Pretty good idea IMO, but as Gift3d said, I would prefer another method to identify who's drawing. Don't ask me though.

One problem: You want separate and distinct colors for each player. It can be tough to have 8 distinct shades that all show up well on the map....and then there's Urgoz and The Deep!

You know the "Targetbox" next to your name in the party screen when you're "I'm targeting xxxxxxx" ?
How about just add another one of those, but with a pencil or whatever on it, next to the name on who's doing something at the radar?

There should be a way to distinguish two different people's drawings. There have been times where I drew an arrow pointed one way and a teammate drew an arrow pointed another.

How bout a highlight around the players name in Party box. so if TK Hawkins (ty HoS) is drawing on the map be it directions or giant penises, we know who it is. If two people are drawing then maybe use the color lines. I dunno.

And why not just make the name Flash in the Health bar?

There's nothing else that makes names flash, they just turn gray if you are far from the rest, so if the name starts and stops flashing at the same time as the culprit, you will always know who is it.

Just flashing names would do. If you want to add colors, then the name could flash from black to that color, but I think that just simple synchronization with the drawing would be enough.

Maybe something like white for party member 1, red for member 2, green for number three, and so on until you reach 12... And so that you wouldn't "lose" lines in terrain backgrounds on the minimap, they'd glow/pulse or something, and also whenever a party member was drawing on the map a little box (in their minimap drawing color) would appear next to their name in the party window.
