Suggestion: Display "Hero" and "Fierce Hero" titles
I am fine with the emote system, but I was thinking: wouldn't it be easier for players to start in HA if they could display "Hero" and "Fierce Hero" titles? No emote, naturally, but it would show that they had SOME HA experience, you know? In the case of my guildie, he is starting to get into HA. But he must only go with the alliance or the guild, because he has around 80 fame. He is 100 away from the emote (quite a steep climb when we only HA 3-4 times a night), so he has R2.
My problem: he would get fame faster if he could run with R2+ groups, but the current "Bar" is set at R3. Why? Because you can PROVE you have HA experience. Right now he looks like any other PvE scrub fighting for a shiney new emote instead of a guy who has HA experience, which I think is rather unfair.
What do you guys think?
EDIT:
whoops... my bad, didn't realize this was discussed before. It's just that I posted that up at school, and the internet there is crap. And guru's servers don't load a page 50% of the time... and I got lazy.
I'M ONLY HUMAN!
*cries*

This has been suggested a lot and many are for it; but many will also cry about how it's not fair.

I cannot see how it is not fair, it's just a title that can be displayed, and it will say exactly what it means, the person has had his share of wins in HA and is not totally new.
I would even suggest a diamond/platinum and silver/bronze emote for champion and gladiator titles. I don't see why HA is limited to emotes only, i would even dare to say that a champion emote would say much more, or be much more "impressive".
But then maybe being able to spoof your rank is what keeps HA alive, seeing all the complaints around here

It should have been like this from the beginning. Although I don't like people crying there's rank elitism, it doesn't exist, I'll /sign.

my r 12 account got hacked and banned, which really annoyed me, so i'm finding it hard to get my rank back on my new account, it is fairly annoying that u need 180 fame just to show a rank, which doesn't really mean anything, as i had a r12, y can't i get into r 3 teams??? even the people i know won't let me, its rediculous

Yea, honestly you should be able to at least show you're rank 2. Where's the harm in that? And it would prevent all the people that are like "I'm only 6 fame from r3!!!!" that try to join r3+ groups when they really only have 6 total fame.
