Concept:PvE Skills concepted after important enemy skills
What do you think about PvE skills concepted after Guild War's antagonists?Personally I would find it a pretty fun gimmick, and it would be an excuse to add PvE skills to prophecies.Note that I said "concepted", meaning they wouldn't be the exact same same skills, but rather use the same concept they use.
Heres my recommendations:
Assassin:
Skill:Impossible odds
Cost:15
Cast:2
Recharge:10
Enchantment Spell:For 5...15 seconds while wielding daggers, you have a 20%..100% chance to double strike and your attacks strike all adjacent enemy's for a single normal hit.
Elementalist:
Skill:Spectral Agony
Cost:10
Cast:1
Recharge:8
Hex Spell:For 5 seconds, target foe moves, attacks, and uses skills 0..40% slower, suffers 1...9 Health degeneration; and loses 0...70 Health each second. This Spell causes exhaustion
Mesmer:
Skill:Chimera of Intensity
Cost:25
Cast:4
Recharge:35
Skill. For 20 seconds your skills recharge 0...25% faster, spells you cast cost 0...15% less Energy, and your movement speed is increased by 0...50%.
Monk:
Skill:Abaddon's Conspiracy
Cost:5
Cast:2
Recharge:7
Spell.Target other ally gains 25..70 Health every second for 3 seconds. When this Enchantment ends normally, you are healed for 50...100 Health.
Necromancer:
Skill:Life Vortex
Cost:10
Cast:1
Recharge:20
Spell:Steal up to 20...90 health from each foe within 30 feet
Ritualist:
Skill:Corrupted Breath
Cost:5
Cast:2
Recharge:10
Binding Ritual.Summon a level 0...8 spirit of Kuunavang. This spirit's attacks hit a foe and all adjacent foes for 1...24 damage.
Paragon:
Skill:Jadoth's Storm of Judgement
3 Adrenaline
Cast:1/2
Recharge:5
Spear attack. This attack strikes for +0...+20 damage and target foe and up to 3 foes within earshot are interrupted. This attack deals holy damage.
Warrior:
Skill:Earth Shattering Blow
10 Adrenaline
Cast:1/4
Touch skill.Attack. All foes in the area of target take 30...100 blunt damage and are knocked down.
Maybe some things are overpowered...
But what do you think of the idea itself?
Note that Spirit of Kuunavang is actually a spirit version of corrupted breath.

Just a concept.Doesn't mean that it would be the actual names Anet uses for this concept, which I doubt they would see this thread in the first place.

So I would rather see it not smashed into even more badly designed peices?
Just because its already broken is no reason to go and break it even more.

Just that would be a bit ... ridiculous.
But I won't be against of a 'Superior signet of capture' that is able to capture lesser versions of monster skills, with different but similar names:
- Impossible Chances
- Battle Scratches
- Dream of Intensity
- Spectral Affliction
But... somehow, I fell like it's way too late to add them now... we have already plenty of powerful PvE skills.

/signed. I can see the OP's point. If those bosses were able to learn those skills, why can't we? Saul D' Alessio for spectral agony, Shiro for all his skills, the Lich for life vortex, etc. We already learned uber regular skills, Karei's healing cricle, Jaizhenju strike, so I don't see why we can't learn these. As for those who are concerned with game balance, I recommend checkers, chess, sorry, and stratego; I can personally vouch for those. As for those replies with 'they're busy with gw2' I recommend you marry and provide for said anet employees, that way they can concentrate on their jobs and the game, and you can concentrate on the OP's post proper. =]

I really like that idea.Something like Simple Thievery come to mind?Maybe its too late to add this in GW1, but I definitely can imagine this in GW2

Maybe a GW2 reward for the monuments for that campaign?
