Explorer Title Help.
I was thinking, when you reach 60.00% in any continent, that when you wear the title, a very faint line or something of the sort could surround the area and let you see how much of the area there is, regardless of what has not yet been unexplored.
Or, have a marker above the explorable area's name, a counter of how much of this area has left to explore out of how much it can offer. -EX: 0.7%/1.4%-
Yet, I realize this would ruin the purpose of the challenge of looking for extra bits of land, this is why I just want opinions, because I'm for and against it only because I realize the advantages and disadvantages.

Been suggested before in various forms. Use Texmod if you need help.

Challenge? I wasn't aware there was a challenge to this title aside from finding the time to do it. Pretty pointless title IMO, but it goes well with Vanquishing. Personally, I don't see a problem with this as it's all a big guessing game unless you visit all the areas and scrape them top to bottom, which isn't fun.

leave it how it is, there is no challenge to doing this title, it's just very time consuming.

My apologies for putting "challenge". What that meant was the etching you're way around an area for that on little piece of land.

A few people have already mentioned it, but have you tried to look it up yet?
Its called Texmod, it does exactly what you are suggesting.

I guess you also want some cookies for each % gained, right?
/notsigned - It was suggested before, a few times actually. Nothing good ever came of those threads.

Use texmod. It's not cheating, because it only changes textures. Same as using Photoshop + screenshots, just in real time.

I find it VEEEERY challenging to my patience. That's why exploring for me in on hold indefinitely!
But the integration of an element like textmod after a certain percentage discovered (only activated upon checking that explorer title box) would've been a nice addition.
It's an obvious and logical feature to include, only it's too bad their attention is drawn elsewhere now.

So a built in texmod?
/signed times a million
First of all, I have grandmaster cartographer already, so don't take this as a whine, but the honest truth.
The cartography title is the single WORST implimentation of any title in the game. I have NEVER seen a single game with an exploration system like GW. I can not name a single game that has an "achievement" for scrapping every single wall in the game. There are other with exploration titles (a few Final Fantasy games come to mind), but none are designed as poorly as GWs (which was clearly just slapped on their when titles were added with Factions).
It is very poorly implimented. Everyone who gets that title uses either texmod or compares screenshots. You might as well just build it into the game.
That may come off as bitchy, but honestly, you have to admit that cartographer is poorly designed.
PS: I bet the OP is already aware of texmod. However, downloading texmod from an unreliable source could open your computer up to viruses, keyloggers, and account theft. Having this built into the game is much safer for computer security, and far more convient for the "average" player.

I don't particularly intend on downloading texmod just for exploring. Sure it'd help, but that's still too much on my computer.

Then do it the good, old fashioned way. I did it, many others did it, I'm sure you could do it too.

Have you tried using any of the cartographer tips on here? They were a great help to me.

Oh yeah, I did that when I had about 92%. I'm just taking a slight break since that's all I did from 67% for about 2 weeks. @_@
