More Channels on Chat System
This is my first post here, but I have a suggestion for an altercation to the chat system that I think everyone would welcome. In addition to the All, Guild, Team, Trade, Alliance, and Whisper tabs, I think the following should be added:
Runners/people wanting to be ran places/LFG messages Guild recruiters There should also be a checkbox so that people [like me] who don't want to hear 500 guild recruitment and runner spams per minute don't have to listen to it. It would make local chat much better by eliminating the spam and simply allowing people to talk. Anybody else agree or disagree? |

I agree a little, but if they add that then people will start asking for more and soon Local Chat will be used for stupid comments (GToB) or people won't even talk (well except the persons that but \|/ T B in local chat....).
But still I won't sign it because Local Chat doesn't really have a use except for this (it's really rare that some people actually talk in it). |

Recruiting for [Lone] cuz were lonely WTS IDS Whisper offer!!!!  its hard to hold a conversation recruiting for [balls] havent found any yet join today bored of your guild? only one on? join [axis] pm for info when this is going on WTB Hammer of finger smashing kinda annoying so I agree on the terms its enforced, but yea right, people still use the all chat for trade so wont ever happen. |

1. ArenaNet doesn't care about running, so a "Runners" tab would not (and should not, imo) ever be implemented. I don't see a problem with "LFG" messages to be displayed in the Local Chat window, since most of these messages occur in mission towns, and that's all anyone wants to do in a mission town anyway.
2. Please use the Guild Recruitment Tab thread to discuss this idea further. Sorry to have to do this being your first post on GWG, but this thread needs locked. There are already two threads open on new Channels for the Chat Box, there is no real need for any more, please contribute to existing threads, and always search for existing threads before posting a new one. /Locked.
