Could someone please enlighten me and tell me how long a typical HM quad run takes?

/not signed. You can strengthen your armor by getting an axe/sword with a armor +5 mod and then take a Warrior secondary and get a r9 tactics shield and spend some points there. (Or go paragon and use the shield for that). Do that, and you'll have +21 armor.
But, this does put me in mind of another, similar problem...

Or how about just do away with UB alltogether. It's a ridiculously stupid skill that singlehandedly changed the entire game.

Yeah, a mesmer can increase armor with equipment, but so does can a warrior, going back to the same, mesmers, ritualists, dervishes and monks left behind.

Ok, let's answer the main thread :
Do I want the UB to be the same on al proffession? NO, I want a el to be different from a W or from a M. This modification will make every one the same, so making class concept meaningless.
I am pretty much hapy that D get more bonus from Wolven than from UB, at least it will orient them on using Wolven.

O, I forgot to say that...
/signed for nerfing the hell out of it.
Once again, I must say to you people who say, "you don't have to use it":
I can't tell you how angry all those stupid little no-skill Ursan groups make me. Yes, you DO have to have Ursan to play pretty much anything in PvE, and that makes it completely and utterly BORING. I don't want to spam the same three or four skills every time I want to do a Fissure run. No one accepts non-Ursans anymore. The one time I WAS accepted into a non-Ursan group, one monk saw that we were non-Ursan halfway through the run and rage-quit. Everyone else followed. (That monk couldn't read, because the leader of the party was obviously and clearly looking for NON-URSAN players.)
PLEASE Nerf Ursan so I can go back to doing some PvE and not get called a "n00b" or whatever for playing an actual build.
I bought the game because I like playing games to have fun. What's the point of playing if I can't have fun doing it? In other words, why did you people buy the game if all you're going to do is play a standardized Ursan build?

Perhaps Anet should simply nerf Ursan into oblivion so that we can start actually "playing" again!!!!

Ursan Blessing is a pretty unfair skill for PvE, but I don't see anything wrong in evening it up between all the classes. That doesn't exactly sound like a buff to me. That just sounds like evening odds between classes, making it so that one profession of Ursan wouldn't be preferred over the other.

Jee, while we're at it, we should make Ursan roar do 300 armor ignoring damage. Also, Ursan strike should be able to be used when you are 500 ft. away so you don't risk dying. /end sarcasm
Imo, A-net should just delete this skill.

No. We freaking hate it and will continue hating it. It's the single biggest bug in the entire game. It's insulting, stupid, gamebreaking, and contrary to everything guildwars used to be. The farmboys QQ'ing every time this screamingly obvious fact is stated are the ones who can freaking drop it.

Some would say that good skill balance is when, a variety of builds would be equally capable of doing any particular task, assuming optimal usage.
Right now it seems like what's being suggested is that, we throw skill balance out the window, and every 1 assume bear form, and run through the game with that alone.
That would make the game reeeally boring.
Every class might as well be the same then, if you simply adjust ursan to be just as effective for all classes.
Some classes really weren't made for running in and bashing shit, and thats probably a good thing.
I think what really needs to be done, is to have ursan nerfed, so ursan is only as overpowered as other pve skills that the caster classes can use equally effectively. ( that being said, there are some classes that need a lotta lovin in terms of PvE skills in relation to primary attribute )
