It'd be nice to know what day I'll get my mini so I can quit checking my 11-month characters. It's no big thing, but it's useful, so /signed.

That last month before your birthday seems to last forever when you don't know what day it is. Its so annoying hoping you get it but you don't.

I agree with government Flu
i'm sorry i just dont wanna sign this i dont see any significance to this you dont have to check everyday all your characters to see if they got a birthday present thats a bit freaky... but if a-net just said to you congratulations "your characters name here" has recieved a birthday present even if your not on the character that got the birthday present it would tell you which one of your characters did. + it would take time for a-net to update peoples years/months/days/hours/minutes/w.e would make it even more laggy then it already is

This is what happens when you wiki too many things. The game becomes too mapped out and demands for everything in a neat organized pile begin. I still think back to the days when I only had Factions and never knew that a wikipedia for Guild Wars existed. Every time I logged in the game was fresh and interesting.
So to recap, just use the months as your timer. There's no true rush. Enjoy the suspense!

Birthday presents are always a surprise on my real birthday. But at least I know when my real birthday is. There's not a thing wrong with knowing when your character's birthday is. I not only want to know the day I created my character. I also want to know the time ... and it's doable... so why not!?

Waiting on my ass for the 11 months to finally switch to 12 is a pain. Knowing the birthday of my character, though, wouldn't require me checking the age every single day.

it would be nice and useful for the new fan site, Rohars Roughnecks Guildwars. It asks for a creation date and.....well I have better things to do then note down every time I create a character. Please, this would be a great implement into the game.

So you mean it should include the day as well? if so, there are a couple issues:
1. In the data base, there is no record of what day did you create your char so it will not work.
2. Even if somehow ArenaNet managed to do so, it will just make more lag as the data base have to store more infos about your account.
In the end, yes it is nice to know but not neccessary and somehow hurt us (lags.) Thanks

In the database the day is already stored.
You get birthday presents when you character makes 1 year, 2 years, and so on...
And you get the present the exact day in which your character has his/her birthday = the game already stores the day.
Since it is info already stored in the db, how is it gonna make more lag?
Think before writing.
