Splitting effects
Maybe there's a way of doing this....if so, please let me know how.
The 'effects' that apply to your character appear as icons on the screen and can be moved anywhere on the screen but they all appear in the same area. At times there can be many, many enchantments, hexes, spirits, conditions etc appearing at once and, for me anyway, it is difficult to pick out the critical ones that I need to keep an eye on. I find keeping track of enchantments on my dervish in particular to be tricky when they are mixed in with a great mass of other effects. It would be much easier if the positive effects (mostly enchantments) could be separated out from the negative effects (mostly hexes and conditions). How about it Anet?

I think this would be quite useful. When facing some enemies the sheer quantity of hexes on me makes it impossible to keep track of anything else, not to mention the enchantments that monks are placing on as well.

You mean 'sort' options or the effects?
It would be nice. Currently they are sorted automaticlly with an internal order.

Only downside is that it would risk clutteinrg the viewer window. I guess they figure cluttering the top part of the screen isn't as bad as cluttering 40% of the screen on the left-most side (or where ever it would be).
So to that I'd say /signed only if it were a feature that could be toggled. As for being able to move the 'hex/enchantments/conditions' icons to any part of the screen, definite /signed.

yea just split effects into 3 types, if you want it how it is now then you just leave the default setting but if you dont you toggle a box and drag the effects around like you can with the rest of the interface.

umm... i'm resurrecting this one because i think it would be much easier to keep track of positive/negative effects. also i didn't want to start a new thread since i found this using search.

The current way of displaying shows the order of where the enchantments/hexes/conditions are put on. I think this is needed for skills that have multiple effects.
