How would having a system that gives equal representation to both pvp and pve be a negative? I agree I don’t like the OP system of both pve and pvp every weekend but I still feel they should be equal.

No, I'm not calling people who are asking for equality selfish. (I'm calling the whiney cry-babies that show up virtually every week when the event is announced selfish.) I'm all for equality in the game (see my suggestion regarding Kilroy's Punchout). The thing is, there are several varieties of PvP out there, and most PvPer's tend to play one sort of PvP (HA, GvG, TA, etc.) nearly exclusively (you won't see much of a drop in attendance in HA during an AB weekend, for example), and with the variety of PvP out there, there's a greater need to hold the different PvP weekends to catch everyone at some time or another.
With PvE, (for those of us who are past the story-line stuff and into the title grinding - hehe), there are more weekends for each individual player to take advantage of. I've taken advantage of every single PvE weekend they've held so far this year, and many, many more different ones before that- double XP for skill caps, Double Vanquishing Rewards, Double SS/LB, ect. etc.
