Thank you for that comment. That will keep me smiling for awhile. To the person who said he/she played a sin for 2 yrs. same here. I still havent found and elite armor I am happy with. Luxon isnt horrid but it isnt great.
Thank all of you for the support. I dont like all the freaking reskin armors. Cripes how many times can we do the elite imperial?

I'm personally fine with my current combo, but wish I had more good looking options.

for some. Others dont like to look like ginzu and a porcupine had an ugly love child. I am not asking that they remove the "s&m scuba gear" just that they add at least one set of armor that is not covered in blades and protrusions.

They should hold a design your own armor contest and place them in the Central Transfer Chamber to go with warriors Silver Eagle hell could even add them at the end of EotN.

agreed - too many spikes, assassin's need to be nimble and acrobatic; with most of these armors if they did a tuck and roll they would impale themselves in 12 different places. Less porcupine and more ninja please!!!

if not spiky, why should assassin look like ninja? they should be wearing farmer or anything that can blend in. if someone were to come within 100ft of me wearing a Mo Zing Mask, I run away very quickly.

I like subtle, so it's Shing Jea all the way for me. I don't completely mind Vabbi or Ancient, though. I did think I was seeing a guy dressed as a spider, the first time I saw the latter, but they've both grown on me enough to buy them.
It did get me thinking, though - wouldn't it be cool if they transformed? Blades extended or retracted, either at the players choice or based on action. Maybe just cosmetic, to go with the idea of assassins not looking deadly until they attack, or it could even add function, with one form having a different rune set to the other.

running from 100ft wont save you cuz he has j00 scorpion wire'd.
on topic: i like the spikey armor although i agree it is not traditional assassin garb. assassin's creed = win, but imo it looks pretty much like derv armor with pants instead of a dress. >.>

Anton the sin in EOTN his first armor set would be the best to get for male sin. even female, it just looks very nice. as opposed to lets say another reskin of ancient.

i don't find the link anymore on that other english elite forum (that green one), but I like his imagination of the assassins "Vagrant Armor" as he named so his set and that guy makes really awesome pretty concept artworks too
pS:
found it now per google lol
Look at these pictures. such a Sin I would die for too see in Guild Wars 2:
n Assasin with ninjalike WIDE clothes, looking like a Shadow in Person
Those guys there make really soem great work of art.
But also the style of the Assassins Creed Hero come very neer to the cloth style of that Vagrand Armor Concept Picture, however, to me personally that Assassin Concept armor is the very best, I've ever seen and it looks os much better, than certain work of anets devs.
They simple have to bring this armor for GW2 !!! Sins look with this so extreme undescribeable epic cool. TZhis picture shows imo bes,t how Assassins in Guild Wars should look like and what I imagine under an Assassine, that looks persian, but also doesn't deny its ninja style.
Give this Ninja of this concept picture now only some Katars in his hands, some Shurikens and Kunais at his Arms and Chest and it would be perfect

I like number 2 best. its a sword with the air ele off hand. already has GW art. This is the kind of clothes I would like to see for males and female. But also something the is more "normal" cause if some guy come running your way dressed in a black jump suit and mask your going to know something is up. Assassins are subtle.

The one being almost perfect would be the armor from the dark brotherhood from oblivion ^^, allways also had a cape with me so i blended in like the assassin from assassin's creed

Vabbian chest and Leggings + Seitung Arms and legs = slick looking sin.
But yea, that's about the only non-spikey combo there is.

I think clothing based on hiding your weapons would be a far more useful implementation if the game actually worked in a way that something like that would matter in the least bit.
However, I do think we could do with less spikey skins.

I agree you can make non-spikey combos. But then you dont get the oh so useful statue in HoM. I want one, just one Anet, set of armor that does look like a freaking metal porcupine, wearing S&M Scuba Gear, and its elite.
