There is only 1 PvP emote, and I would be happier to see that removed than another one implimented.

Like it was unfair to the people spending craploads on Zaishen Keys before the title?
Especially when alot of the drops were wank.

I don't see how my suggestion is less substantial.
And I don't see what's hard about pressing "H", clicking the title for the area.

Aside from SYS (which does not gain a bonus after r11) the kurzik/luxon skills are... okay. And given the effort necessary to reach r12, skill upgrade is hardly and adequate trophy, imo.
SY is worth grinding to R12 with it's defensive power.
It's the strongest skill in the game next to Ursan.

i can sign to a Character aura only, when our characters get something unique looking and not this ugly as hell boss aura crap, where our bodies would simple glow then only in our professions color. Would be somewhat of super ugly.

No, when, then some really cool animated Character Auras with like floating spinning circles, bubbles around ect. pp and similar things around your body, while a seeable pile of power streams up from the ground.

An Aura, similar to Dragonball Z would be cool, which has also an awesome sound effect, letting it hear you, when someone with an increadible aura is near you, so that you get really recognized.

otherwise I'm still therefore, that GWAMM should receive nearly exactly the same emotes, as the Hero title, so that PVE players will never be again forced to play PvP for the Hero Emotes, when anet stays to be so lazy to give PvE'ers alternative ways to gain Fame Points, beside playing PvP and holdign the HA ..., only with the difference, that the pve version is slightly brighter or so, some little visual difference should be there...

for pvp-version peopel use then /emote, for pve brighter version of GWAMM then /emote2 ... or /emotenew a la Dances work so...

btw most awesome would be both together, similar hero emotes together with nice unique non boss looking Character Full Body Aura with the style of DBZ yeah and float like a Mursaat would make all that even look bettern then, slightly over the ground, but all that only in towns and also limited to like max x persons, like Minipets are limited per district too

PS. only without such a silly Hair Change naturally XD

The Aura would be neat, but the rest just stupid. Titles are ment to show a accomplish that you have done, Not to get extra benfits.

More please. MORE!

Someone suggests an emote and it ends with a player having a glowing aura that has sound effects while the player floats threw outposts in double speed displaying his golden title.

What's next? KoaBD triggering the /bow or /kneel command on all players you walk by so they can praise your supreme grindness?

I have commented your fame for PvE idea once so I'll just link you:

Just...no. It's bad enough that people can waste so many hours of their precious lives on something so pointless and turn a game which should be fun into a grinding chore. They should not be encouraged.

Titles are worthless and as such do not deserve special emotes/effects.

Titles should have never been introduced into the game in the first place, they have driven most of the community into repetitive farming and absolutely pointless acts simply to get a few words under your name. Any act encouraging the spread of titles goes against the founding principal of GW, skill>time.

PvP and PvE get different things and there's always someone getting upset all the time, that won't change. No matter what you do.

NO. It would be completely FAIR. If someone spent a lot of time buying alcohol, he deserves to use the 'drunken' PvE skills for less, but not for free.

Quote:
Same as #2.
Two words: Dragon NEST. They may deserve to have better effects, but not having rushes for free. Not 25%, nor 33% neither 50% movement speeds. To get a sugar rush, you use an item. It's like PvE titles, they may have or may have not title effect, but they always increase skill power. The skills for the sweet tooth title are the sugar rushes.

Quote:
I don't see how my suggestion is less substantial.
It would be like giving a title for Protecto, Guardian, Carthogapher, etc.
Master of the North is an amalgan of those titles. They are achievement titles, and their reward is themselves and the HoM statue.

Quote:
I like my idea better especially since perfect salvage kits are now available.
Treasure hunter has two benefits, lucky has one. Wisdom, Treasure and Luck/Unlucky are similar, so they should work the same. Giving Wisdom a second benefit would require Lucky to have a second benefit too (Unlucky would be left out, since it's all about NOT having luck). But identification kits are gold sinks, they are not to be removed. Maybe increased used in ID kits bought, or chances to keep item uses when using a kit, but nothing completely free. Only chances.

I forgot. The Alligance titles HAVE an effect. It's called the Kurzick/Luxon blessing. It gives +3 regen and +25 HP, but it's part of the bounty priests give. Also, people can bribe the priests and get BOTH blessings, being able to have +6 regen and +50HP.
I would agree to separate the bounty and the title effect, so people is able activate to have one single title at the same time. Both would give +1..3 HP and +5..60HP when under inside Kurzick/Luxon borders (those visible in the map) and during all Kurzick/Luxon cooperative missions and challenges, but not in AB and competitive missions. Of course, they would work only if you alliegance of that faction is higher than the other.

I agree with your Drunkard and LMotN suggestions. I could even agree with your suggestion of an aura or floating in towns.

But the suggestions for the other three titles don't fly. The ones I approved are purely cosmetic. Those aren't.

btw, isn't there already a thread for this?
