I think that the keys we used before it was implemented should count and pls dont flame the thread saying just buy them rank 4 of the title is more than fow armor we aint all that rich.

ive used 500+ all from hb and now i have to reget all those because they wont include ones from past >< lame

even if anet wanted to implement this i doubt they recorded how many keys everyone has used so it isnt really possible

If they were thinking about a title like this, and I bet they put it into development months ago they should have been recording how many keys people use. That's just not fair to say you have to start again even if you've used 200+ keys before this update. Now the hoarders and rich people can get the titles instead of the pvpers who actually EARNED their keys and used them all because they wanted to strike it rich. Don't see the point in not recording past keys.

They didn't record it. They can't retroactively do it because there was no counter for how many times you used the z-chest (because that would require more memory from the server space). It just can't be done because they don't know how many times you used it.

Duh.

Its not because they are "discriminating" or any other conspiracy theory. They just legitamately didn't bother keeping statistics on the z-chest because they didn't forsee this title when they first added it.

Poorly mistiming on implementing this. Look at all these people who happened to open nearly 5000++keys. If they wanted to implement it, should have done it the day they implemented the z-chest, or not do it at all.

I spent over 800k on Zaishen Keys. Too baed for me. Probably would have r3 Zaishen. Life didn't end for me.

No other titles were retroactive, this one is no different.

Besides, I think Hawk is right. I doubt ANet kept track of how many keys were used on different accounts.

Actually, the Hero title was indeed retroactive.

But the requirements for that is something they kept track of, which wouldn't be the case with Z Keys.

Even though I did not open the z chest that many times, I think it should be retroactive since Anet did not hint about this as it just came out of the blue.

I wouldn't say it was retroactive tbh. The hero title was nothing new, it was simply changing the fame system into a title.
