i would like anet to set up some form of award for holding the record for completing areas in the fastest times, for example the "Domain Of Anguish" and titles accordingly (but only whilst you hold the fastest time) and maybe a monument at the area you have conquered stating your prowess :P

just a thought..

I would like to see them keep track of that so i can see how fast other teams complete the areas... however you are already awarded by completing the area quickly and getting the end chest

Challenge missions.

Other stuff was never designed with a "challenge system" in mind. Just look at the "fastest times" thread here on Guru. There are all sorts of varations on the scoring. Ursan teams vs non-Ursan teams vs no PvE skills teams, HM or NM, Consumes or no Consumes.

i understand ursanway is a spoiler but i dont think some people have got the time to spend 2-3 hours conquering a certain area..
but i do agree with you that you would probably need to ursanway everywhere to stand a chance of the record.maybe disabling PvE skills for challenging the record, having the option prior to starting the mission as to whether or not you want to start the challenge

/ not signed I think the stupidist thing in GW are timed missions like in Factions for masters. Being able to run through fast just proves you have a better and fasterv computer. For crying out loud they created all that scenery take a look at it and stop to smell the roses. I don't want GW to have any insentive to go back to speed motivated missions. In Factions they just did not want to think up the extra material needed for the bonus on missions. It was much easier and cheaper to just say let them do it fast.
