Allegiance skills in Alliance battles!
HI guys
I recently started playing alliance battles a lot and was wondering why you can't use allegiance skills during alliance battles...
This seems odd, also, i think that it is unfair that there are PvE only skills but no PvP only skills.
I'm not suggesting that allegiance skills be made PvP only nor am i suggesting that they should be used in all PvP.
But i do think they should be available for alliance battles...playing alliance battles, is after all, how you increase the effectiveness of these skills.
Please post your thoughts and ideas and feel free to treat this thread as a petition for Arenanet. In other words, type /sign if you agree with me and /not sign if you don't. Thanks

'Cause PvE skills weren't designed with balance in mind.
Plus the Kurzick/Luxon PvE skills are some of the most powerful skills you can use. Just imagine having a Glass Arrows/Brutal Weapon ranger smack you with a Triple Shot and you'll see why they're not allowed.

Wait for the PvP skill only balance. It's going to very interesting to see what they do. That may be more of what you want rather than PvE skills in PvP.

How's it unfair that there are no PvP-only skills?
And yeah, AB may be more PvE'ish with the shrines and such, but it still has players you're going against.

Hmm....lets have a paranoia.
-If we implement PvE skills in AB, then ANet must balance this game
-If Anet balances the game, skills like [vocal minority], [Soothing Images] and the enchant removal ones would suffer a buff.
-Therefore, a new metagame would be created, and AB would be as lame and stupid as ever.

if PvE allegiance skills were allowed in AB, all you would see anymore is IMBAGON LFG! or ANTI IMBAGON LFG!

Only use of Allegiance skills in AB I can ever agree with is the NPCs being the only ones to have them. I still hold that kurzick NPCs get Kurzick skills, Luxons get Luxon, Sunspear get Sunspear, Lightbringers get Lightbringer, Norn get Norn*excluding Blessings*, Asuran gets Asuran, Ascalon/Vanguard get Vanguard. *and of course, this DOES include heroes getting the PvE skills of their respective origins*
