Report command suggestion
You know how it has report for spamming, botting, scamming, leeching.
Have an option to report for selling out of game items. I can't really report someone for like selling RuneScape accounts, (which is wrong right?) It would be easier to just check something like "Bad Selling." Cause spamming doesn't really make since... Thanks

Something like this crossed my mind not ten minutes ago. I saw someone trying to buy accounts with gold, which I'm pretty sure (not certain) would be against the EULA. I don't think it should be "Bad Selling/Buying" as then any jackass would report people for selling items at prices they would not agree with or some other sort of nonsense. But I wouldn't mind seeing some type of report feature for people that would break the EULA in this sense.

Just report them for spamming or verbal abuse.
The report system is NOT 100% automated. An a.net staff member has to look over every report. If the a.net staff finds somebody spamming selling IGN for something they shouldn't, then they will give out a ban. You don't need all these complicated categories. Just report them for one of the existing offenses and A.net will look into the case.

I don't think scamming should be reportable. It's not necessarily illegal and more of breach of a player-to-player agreement rather than violation of GW rules.

poasiods, I agree. Scamming (in the sense of buying something at a lower price then it is worth) isn't technically a breach in the rules since A.net doesn't inforce prices. But the OP isn't talking about scamming. He's talking about trading things for items from another game or for money, which is a breach of the EULA.
Only Phoenix Tears brought up scamming (and anybody who posts here regularly knows to just ignore his posts, since they are usually long rants that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. Phoenix Tears doesn't write conversations or discussions with others, he writes essays which don't address any points brought up by other people).

Another MMO I play has a report gold seller feature that you type on your chat bar or rightclick the spammers name and hit it from a menu that goes directly to the part of support that deals with it.
No excuses Anet. If they can do it so can you. Especially since you have everything packed into nice tidy instances on a shrinking list of servers.

I never report. The few people who get banned, just buy Guild Wars again anyway.
I'll still sign. Sounds useful enough.
