Trading is ruining guild wars?
Since farming is becoming worse and worse, people have gone to selling and buying for money. A regular farmer may make 20k an hour, but a trader may get 20 ectos an hour. Which of these people work harder to get this money? The average farmer now has to work harder and harder for money well a trader gets rich in a few days. With the amount of rich people increasing because of trading, the farmers have begun to become poorer because the price of items has increased because the wealth of traders is increasing. Cool items have begun to cost even more than obsidian armor or chaos gloves. Did the creators of guild wars intend for this to happen? Guild wars is about going off on a grand adventure with friends and ally's to get better and better. This is getting ruined by traders. Now, somepeople may think im an idiot for saying this or that im completely wrong, but i stick by my opinion. Ok, my suggestion is to make all rare materials untradable so they cannot be used as currency. This means you can only buy from a rare material trader or farm them yourself

1. Don't double post.
2. If anything ruined Guild Wars in the first place, it's farming and grinding. Trading is a legit and encouraged way for trading in any MMORPG.
3. Neither trading or farming has little to do with "going off on a grand adventure with friends and ally's to get better and better."
4. No one's stopping farmers from engaging 'power trading' to make more money.
You're basically suggesting that we should make it so that farming would be the only real possible way to obtain Ectos for Obsidian armor. Sorry, that sounds somewhat ridiculous to me.

Untradeable materials? That's just bizarre.
I also don't buy your argument that "cool items have begun to cost more" when the prices of most high-end items are going down, not up.
Farming is much easier than trading. If you don't believe me, go try it for a few hours.

anybody that trades to get money obviously doesnt like the idea. But why have farming and grinding if you can just trade, might aswell remove dungeons and uw/fow.

Every MMORPG has power traders. Deal with it. Horrible idea, /notsigned.

Well suggestion is make rare materials non tradable. That would kind of even up the money making between trading and farming.

Worst idea of the week.
If rare materials were untradeable, than what would be used for trades over 100k?

Shouldnt even be trades over 100k. If there was wouldnt you think anet would make you be able to hold 1000k or even more in backpack?

So, so clueless. Gee, I can sell this for 100k, or go on to eBay and make $50 off of it. What to do?
And how about if I counter with this: "there should be trades over 100k. If there wasn't, wouldn't you think anet would make you not able to trade materials?"

So wait, your saying that the people who farm for high end items arent going to be able to afford other high end items because the price is going up (which is isnt) on the items that they themselves farm and are trying to sell? Wow that confused the heck outa me just typing it out, i cant immagine what it must be like to actualy think like that...
