i'd like this would help on all those kill a bazillion monsters quests missions and only getting like 15 seconds at end to pick up all that gold

Only for a lazy hero, yeah, sure. We should let gold automatically get picked up and shared. Hell, while we are at it, why not let the dropped items automatically appear in their rightful owners inventory?

Seriously, this is not necessary. Picking up drops is a minor effort, at best. Besides, it is more annoying to have to pull up your inventory to see what you got than looking at the floor and seeing it right off the bat.
