Leadership req Paragon Shields
Hi
I have been playing my paragon, and i find that there is no shield with leadership req. Most builds i use mostly have spear mastery and leadership skills. I tend to have both of them maxed and i cant meet the attribute for command/motivation shields.
My suggestion is Anet to make shields for Paragons which need Leadership req.

Aren't Paragons imba enough?!
You don't need a high rank in Command for "GftE!" to be effective as energy management.

Anet should change strength shields to tactics.

/signed, if we take out either motivation or command ones. We must keep the balance
Although, pretty much every paragon build uses Leadership, while not every warrior uses strength, if you get what I'm saying.
on a side note, I also want wings on paragons while we're at it . The picture on the box was deceiving, I thought I'd get wings when I first made one! (that's actually why I made one in the first place :S)

I like the idea but I don't think it should be Shields.
An item or two can be added for most attributes that don't have anything pretty easily.
Leadership can have Horns or Standards (Flags) that take up a shield slot.
Deadly/Shadow Arts can have unique two handed weapons.
Swordsmanship linked Blocking Swords. This works for Axes too.
They could introduce some new mechanics with these as well. Something like a Battle Horn adding 10% or so to Shout Durations, or a Standard giving a 10% HSR in a Ward like the Ebon Standard does, except all the time. It might be difficult for them to be balanced, but I think they would be really neat and add a lot of interesting PvP and PvE options. Although I'm certain most people here will complain...
...oh well, there's always GW 2.

I actually thought paragons should have focuses instead of shields at the start, because I thought they were too much like warriors.
How wrong I was.
Although I still like the focuses on paragons idea.

Too many weapons and attributes would need to be considered and/or added to keep balance the same for all classes.
Bows with Expertise, Wilderness Survival and Beast Mastery requirements.
Daggers with Critical Strikes, Deadly Arts and Shadow Arts requirements.
Scythes with Mysticism, Earth Prayers and Wind Prayers requirements.
And don't forget mods. Dagger Handle of Mastery increases Dagger Mastery attribute. Why can't we have +1 Deadly Arts, Shadow Arts, and Critical Strikes bonuses? Just consider all the weapons, attributes and mods that start becoming desired if this gets added.

I think the whole point was to discourage pure spear/leadership bars.

Been there, done that, and I don't need a Leadership shield. I can also understand why it wasn't implemented. Divine posted why in a nutshell. This topic has been discussed in the paragon campfire on guru; I suggest you go look there.

uhh... you think anet introduced paragons with command and motivation shields and just 'forgot' leadership shields or what?
OH WAIT maybe they did it on purpose. <== correct answer.
if you cant answer why they did that i suggest you reconsider your paragon.

ive said this many times in the past..
give leadership req shields, or remove str based sheilds.
that and give all shield skins to both war and para.. not fair that war has EVERY SHIELD SKIN, while para only has a limited number.
been unbalanced like this since day 1 with para.. please fix anet. its really not that hard to add 3 LINES OF CODE.
