Reward playing different classes
Seems like there's a thread about a new title idea everyday here, so i'll add mine into the mix: an account based title that requires you to complete a campaign (EotN not included) with different classes.
Ranks would be something like
(haven't thought of names)
(1) Complete a campaign with 3 different (primary) classes
(2) Complete a campaign with 6 different (primary) classes
(3) Complete a campaign with all 10 different (primary) classes
I think this would be quite different to all the other titles since it would actually encourage playing the game with different classes, rather than just doing everything with one character.
I suppose many of the dedicated players would have this already, but for a casual player like me, it would give me an incentive to play through with all the classes and get a better understanding of how they work.
So, suggestions/ feedback?

Define "complete a campaign", and then we'll talk.

I'm guessing he means either having protector or having protector and guardian for said campaign.
Anyway, Anet does not encourage people to play lots of different characters with all the character-based titles. Therefor, /notsigned

4 things I see that are off.
First, it either requires you to get Protector, Guardian, or both. Or, it could just mean beating all 25/13/20 missions, which is still a burden for the "casual player." And if it just means beating the last mission, then just no.
Second, I think it is clear that Anet does NOT encourage playing different characters. Evidence: All of the Character-based titles and the HoM.
Third, the "casual player" technically wouldn't have that much time on their hands *as a regular "casual player" should only be playing 3 hours a day, max, which means 6 missions a day, on average, so on 10 character, with all 4 games, which is a total of 49 missions, would be 490 missions, and with 6 per day, that leaves 82 days to get that title maxed, for a "casual player." But that is going with the idea of just "beating the missions," no masters/bonuses, nor Guardian.
Lastly, for those who want to max this title, that requires them to buy at least 2 character slots, at most, 6 character slots. For me, that isn't an issue as I bought 3 slots for the BMP. But for the "casual player," the title may be impossible to max through that alone.
In short, /notsigned

This is not a good title for people who play alone. Its takes people who play with guildies far less time to build a character and beat a campaign
And a title that requires all 10 different professions is not cool because that means people would be forced to buy more character slots.
/notsigned.
As a casual player I don't have time to play all the professions and do all 4 games all over again. I play one character (will play two soon with my monk) and I am still behind. What you are suggesting is not casual friendly, It would only be good for hardcore gamers who have a lot of free time and for those who buy character slots.
In other words, its not for everyone. So its a fail. Nice idea, back execution. Sorry.

I can't blame you for making this idea out of good intent, but still, this title won't work because it won't appeal to everyone. And like the ones above me said, you have to buy additional character slots to make the title. That requires you to spend REAL money instead of in game gold. I'm sure we all can agree about what we feel about gaining in game fame by spending real cash, as some ridiculous rpg games forces you to do. It would be low for Anet to make people to spend real cash to gain fame, and so I do not think they will do it, or should do it. Sad to say for you, but, it's a /notsigned from me. Nice try, though.

(1) Tyria............Tyrian Construct
(2) Cantha.........Canthan Construct
(3) Elona............Elonian Construct
(4) Eternal Construct
(1) Five+ characters have to complete all missions in NM or HM on the continent of Tyria.
This does not require the bonus, just the completion of the mission.

Paying real money for character slots for a title is not cool... Otherwise it wouldn't be a bad idea. /notsigned

good point, i hadn't thought of that, although as long as account based title progression is stored on their servers, you could delete other characters to create new ones (not a popular choice i know).
To clarify, when i said complete a campaign i meant getting the protectors title on one of prophecies/factions/nightfall.
I guess the major problem is with the HoM, Arena Net have already basically said 'play one character until GW2 comes out'. Hopefully this attitude won't be present in GW2, but it seems unlikely

The reward is in itself, by becoming more skilled in each one.
The skill you gained is the reward.

But it is at least some incentive for new players. Gain some experience in the basics of a few classes and get a nifty title in the process.
I do think my variation is simple and viable especially for new players or long time casual players.
