I've wondered about this too, not having to waste an AB run just for that last 1,005 faction to fill up or whatnot.

But I like the idea of reducing the amount of points for titles better. 2 million kills to max? And with a gold sink to go with it. Yeah, that is great.

No. Sorry but NO.

Faction given to the Guild slowly decrease.
Faction in player's accounts NEVER decrease.

If this would be implemented, Faction hunting guilds would start requiring players with higher caps. To save up faction and use them all at once at the same time.

So older players would have unfair advantage in this. Their points would last longer.

in my experience, most faction guilds don't really care how or who gets faction as long as they do because it's hard enough to find people willing to donate to an alliance to begin with.

Its also important because this faction can be more valuable than Balth faction, but that can be saved up endlessly.

I don't farm faction so it doesn't really bother me how this all ends, but..

THERE IS A REASON FOR THE CAP,and i think MithranArkanere was trying to make this point too.. but anyway:
WITH the faction cap, an alliance's faction represents 10x its average aggregate faction dontated.
If the faction cap were raised, the alliance's faction would be less of a representation of its daily faction activity, would be seen as more of an incidental "buff" to the alliance. Why? because it would be easier to temporarily raise the faction of an alliance to much higher than it would be "naturally", by organizing every 1 to save then donate on 1 particular day.

Of course... this may not be such a bad thing.. but just remember the faction cap isn't just a purposeless inconvenience.

The thing is that by only slightly increasing the cap, like balth (but it wouldnt be able to go as high as balth since theres only one track for faction but balth has a few title tracks) wouldnt create such a problem, say only giving you an extra 1000/2000 capacity per title rank.

somewhat annoying when you get to just under 10k, i have a few pve that can unlock skills but dont get to because i play on pvp, so have to use the donation to alliance

/signed, I'd love this. I'm constantly having to stop mid-quest or whatever to dump faction, and at the insane amount of faction required for the titles, the least they can do is let us hold more.
