I agree also for it has greatly reduced farming for my derv mostly for the fact that all it takes is one interupt on Mystic regen to end ur battles

Agreed. I think that it should be changed to Mysticism instead of Earth Prayers, so its sort of exclusive to dervs.

However, I think the PvP and PvE split was only a TEST for gw2. As seen by the lack of skills included in the split, I dont believe anet intends to truly use it to improve gw1.
EDIT: And to those of you non derv players, before the nerf it was 20 seconds, and had no enchant limit. Of course there is a regeneration limit, so extra regen was just used to counter conditions like burning and bleeding.

prior to the nerf to mystic regen the recharge time was only 4 seconds not 12 so interupts were not of much concern u could get interupted a given twice and still manage to recast it on yourself for the 130 build but now it limits the bosses and areas in which is farmed

I don't think it was ever 4 seconds recharge. It had unlimited amount of enchantments that could fuel Mystic Regeneration. So you could farm even enemies that give Bleeding, Poison, Disease and degeneration hexes at once.

I am pretty sure the recharge was less than 5 seconds a while back.

No, there was a much lower recharge time on the skill before it was nerfed. I can't remember what it was, but I think it was four seconds.

The description was something along the lines of:
For 20 seconds, you gain +1..3 health regeneration for each enchantment on you.
10E, 1/4 cast time, 5 recharge.

I remember it as a 5 second recharge. I can live with the limit on enchantments, as it was imbalanced to have such a huge regen ability.

Unlike other skills that have had a PvE/PvP split (Incoming, Watch Yourself), Mystic Regen was not nerfed into utter crap. Even with the nerfs to its current state, MR is still very powerful, and a staple of many of my friend's PvE Dervish builds. It's current nerfed form is no where near as broken and useless as it would need to be to deserve a split.
PS, if all you want this for is for farming... tough. There are like 100 farming builds on these forums, plus the new perma SF build. Use any of them instead.
