New Prophecies collectors edition: Upgrade Edition
I know this is not a in-game suggestion and i don't know if this is the correct place, but i didn't know where else it could go
Actually the prophecies collectors edition can only be bought in ebay and the price is very very high , i know anet said that there won't be more collectors edition for the first chapter, but i think this can be a good solution to be aviable to get it, making a GW upgrade edition that will be interesting if you already have a game account.
This collectos upgrade edition will have the same physical content as the collectors edition: artbook, headphones, soundtrack... the main changes will come in the virtual content:
- it won't include a new account key.
- it will include: 1 character slot, divine aura, new special dances for 6 core proffesions (this will also be added to the old collectors edition), 1 minipet (maybe glint? ). It will also be nice if it includes all the preorder items from the first chapter.
I don't know if this could be possible in financial terms, if it would be possible with a normal price... maybe without speakeasy & headphones can be possible... dunno, is just an idea... i know some people, including myself, that didn't get the collectors edition because they didn't know that they where going to enjoy this game so much.

Not going to happen. CE's, including their bonuses are limited in quantity for a reason. You miss it, you miss it, it's that simple.

Didn't they do that with Guild Wars - Special Edition?
Only thing missing is a Mini.

No, the Game of the year edition bonus weapons were put up on the ingame store, however, they were always seperate in the game of the year edition box as a seperate code
however, all the extra code game was the following special weapons:
Nevermore Flatbow - Ranger Bow
Piercing Dmg: 15-28 (req. 9 Marksmanship)
Lengthens Poison duration on foe by 33%
Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%)
Tiger's Roar - Elementalist Focus
Energy +12 (req. 9 Energy Storage)
Halves casting speed of Fire Magic spells (Chance 20%)
Halves casting speed of Air Magic spells (Chance 20%)
Rhino's Charge - Warrior Hammer
Blunt Dmg: 19-35 (req. 9 Hammer Mastery)
Damage +15% (While Health is above 50%)
Armor penetration +10% (Chance: 10%)
Wolf’s Favor - Monk Focus
Energy +12 (req. 9 Divine Favor)
Halves casting speed of Healing Prayers spells (Chance 20%)
Halves casting speed of Protection Prayers spells (Chance 20%)
Luminescent Scepter - Mesmer Wand
Chaos Dmg: 11-22 (req. 9 Domination Magic)
Halves casting speed of Illusion Magic spells (Chance: 20%)
Energy +3 (while Health is above 50%)
Soul Shrieker - Necromancer Staff
Dark Dmg: 11-22 (req. 9 Curses)
Energy +10
Halves casting speed of Death Magic spells (Chance: 20%)
Halves casting speed of Blood Magic spells (Chance: 20%)
Energy +5
Shield
* Armor 16 (requires 9 Tactics )
* Received damage -2 (while in a Stance)
* Health +30
I would Highly recommend getting this pack if you see it in the stores, its a cheap special edition pack and the special edition weapons will also be usable by any hero hench you get in NightFall

Pardon me but the Special Edition by my brousing has the above, but much of the Collectors Ed too. A Map, an art book, Its another Collectors Edition IMHO. That said I would buy it if I knew I got extra slots as I have the game already. This purchase would be for the bonus items and slots.
Edit: Thanks for the detailed post on the Weaposn though made me drool.

i have a special edition, the map is... useless, you see factions and nightfall collectors edition and that's a map, the special edition map is just some kind of concept of how the land may look. The art book is named 'art boork 2', i don't know how the collector edition art book was, i think it may named 'art book 1', but the special edition one doesn't seem to much to factions or nightfall ones, anyway... some illustrations are also repeated in the factions art book.
I don't think my special edition has something to do against my nightfall & factions CE.
Anyway, i know that my idea is quite hard to accomplish, but i also think from my personal experience, there is demand of prophecies collectors edition.

And adding a second prophecies Key, whether its from a different pack or not does NOT give you another two character slots

Sorry, but this sounds like an EA strategy (so many editions of the same game), so i dont like this.

The special edition was sold 9 months after prophecies was released as a special edition with a few PvP unlocks...
The Game of the year Edition was only released at the same time as Nightfall because of the million sales of the original edition of Prophecies

Undoubtedly, not going to happen, but if it did, I'd be first in line to buy it! I was so pissed when i found out about the divine aura... if I had money, i'd buy CE on ebay for 600 dollars, but I'm poor and need to buy a truck, so nada on the CE.

Shoot, I'd pay $10-15 to the online store just to unlock Divine Aura. I keep on trying to get my hands on a sealed CE on eBay, but jerks up the price to $300-600, well above my maximum price point ($150). There are a lot of folks who came a year late to GW, but have been just as faithful customers as the people who have been around since the start.
Here's my purchase list to illustrate: Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall Collector's, 5 character slots, Game of the Year upgrade, Factions Collector's, Prophecies Special Edition, Nightfall Pre-order, GW:EN pre-order, GW:EN. Total all that up, and you can tell I've stuck with the franchise and re-imbursed ANet quite nicely for my 2,700 hours of play. Yet I came a year late, and the original CE is no longer available, and the coolest perk I know of is permanently locked off to folks who started early, or have way too much money.

lol ..dream further. this will never happen.
Before ever something like this will happen, anet should better put into the store all the other weapons of the preorder packs into the o-store.
Because anet simple sold too less of them... i wanted to buy that preorder pack of NF, for the 2 special weapons ...no chance...one day after release, all were direct sold out >.>..so wtf >.<
And imo is that special scythe still one of the few less scythe, that look best, rest is all ugly crap, especially such cool named ones, like the "deathbringer" could lok alot better and could be maybe to animated, but nat...so far can't anet think >.>, its like as if they have problems with making more awesome looking weapons... its like 5% good looking, 95% is generic crap about ugly reskins or skin clones.
The preorder pack scythe is imo one of the lonely scythe, that look realy good at the Dervish and i want to have it, but can't as long it doesn't get sold by o-store, like the other weapons there..for example the nevermore-bow and the rest, which are showed above...
the other stuff should be buyable too...
but not such thigns like the divine aura.... people had really enough time to receive information about the CE and to preorder proph, because enough of them were sold, so that enough people had the chance over like 2 weeks to preorder...
but when 1 day after release of a preorder pack all are sold out, than this is really cheap!!! and sad.
The only thign, that would be more cheap, would be, if Anet won#t put in soon the BMP into store and gives finally the o-store an amazon similar payment system with simple to use online banking over transfer and/or debit note.
Amazon shows how it functions best, why can't Anet do it the same way finally? online baking will automatically exchange all different kinds of money into the correct sum of that money, which anets wants to have on their bank account >.> so wtf is the problem in giving us finally an easy to use and easy to understand way of payment for o-store?
But away from the off topic ^^
to come to an end ..

So special edition bonus items are just pvp unlocks? I was considering buying it for items for a perma presear char but if this is true, I guess there is no point.

I doubt anyone above you will answer back, seeing that the last post was like 6 months ago.
But I'll be nice cus I like your avatar. Yes you can use those weapons anywhere, they can be use in pre, post wherever really. If you dont want any of them just put them in the bin. And you can spam them back as much as you want as long as you dont alrady have one in your bag. They're great for gearing up heroes.

Yes, lets now use the online store for deliveries, there is a reason its all cheaper, because you get no physical content

1) Character slot?? what about those who got the CE for prophecies to begin with, they didnt get one.
2) Dances?? why??
3) minipet? even the originals didnt get that!!
4) ALL PRE-ORDER ITEMS???? YOUR CRAZY, Guild Wars Prophecies has six items, one per box, according to where you reserved it.
* Canthan Targe - Best Buy
* Bone Idol (pre-order item) - CompUSA
* Ithas Bow - EB Games
* Chimeric Prism - Europe
* War Pick - Gamestop
* Censor's Icon - Everywhere Else

Thats your own loss, why should you now (over 3years later) get a 2nd chance at getting it... its called COLLECTORS for a reason.
