If you are in a guild group and that is the plan from the begining... I'd gladly do that for my friends for the greater good.

You could still tie in need for primary match ... no rangers replacing warriors.
Or even make hero have to have same skillbar as party member that left (minus pve skills, empty spots instead, ofc.)
Obvious (ab)use is still to get 7 heroes ... and if some is against that ... boo, freaking, hoo DLDU

Besides, when you're deployed in enemy territory doing military-type stuff and you lose a man, you can't reach in your ruck for "instant infantryman". You carry on and finish the mission a man down, or you RTB and get a replacement.

I don't see anything harmful with just replacing the person who left with a henchman of the same profession. Heroes with the exact same skillbar and stuff like that is getting a bit complex.

You're pretty bright, you can be the Point Man.
Here's your Day Glow Orange vest. We'll be right behind you.
Way behind you.

/signed under conditions:
A. Henchmen only
B. Addable by party leader ONLY after the player has left the game (or in case of DC, after their time is up, and their party icon goes gray).
C. Henchmen's skills do not include a Rez, so that this feature cannot be abused that way.
Second suggestion:
If we were able to add heroes, wouldn't it make sense if they maxed it out at 3 per person in party? Where in the world would you guys get the idea that anet would even let you add 7 heroes O.o ?

Signed...
I'm just sick and tired of being in the middle of a mission/quest/whatever, and having people drop from the party. There needs to be a way to replace the leavers in situ, without having to go back to town and starting all over again...
