would further flood the market with keys thus lowering the "now lowered" high end items.
if thats the case, why dont we just trade tokens for high end items since were all eager to get our hands on these keys anyway?

I can't see why all the /unsigned people are whining about the market being flooded.
It can't get much worse than it already is. This is only a method for turning the tokens back into keys for the people who missed out. People that have had large stacks of tokens lying in wait aren't going to change this a whole lot.
But since tokens are tradeable now, to my understanding, we should probably make it so Tolkano takes five tokens for one key, and doesn't just give 1k faction for a token. That would destroy the usefulness of Flames of Balthazar.

I'm signing about 10 tokens a key.
Like the merchant, when you buy him an ID kit, you can sell it back for half the price. Should be the same for tokens, with balth factions instead of gold.
By the same way, you should be able to sell back your Zaishen keys in BAlth faction for 500 factions, etc...

Anet would have implemented it from the start if they wanted to but they decided not to reward the risk takers. I think they made the right decision.

It is not the only option.
Option 1 - Use your faction to stack up tournament tokens.
Option 2 - Let your faction sit at Max.
Tournament tokens are for tournaments. Why would you be able to use them for anything else?

I would have if I had the option of getting faction added to my total amount even as I kill. After I UAX'ed, I had spent every 1k on tournament tokens. I have 612 of them, and I would really like a token for key thing, considering, if I left it at max, my total balthazar faction earned would be 612,000 lower. Not a big deal? I've seen some guilds require faction count to prove you'd had a long trail of pvp experience, and not just played pvp for a day, won a gladiator point and claim you're awesome.

I always though Tournament Tokens should be renames as 'Balthazar Tokens' and be used as Battle Isles coins.
Along with the uses in Tolkano, there could be more uses for them like getting ID kits and salvage kits for the PvP characters, so they can salvage the Zaishen Chest items and use them in the Tournamente rewards.
And get alcohol and crémes in a collector (2..3 tokens eachy), and other stuff with 0 value and such.

Sure I would like more uses of the Tokens, an adaptation on the lines of the quartermasters would be cool.
However, I'm simply asking for an exchange of prouct back to the trader, and while I would like to see it a straight 1 token for 1000 balth, I understand the request that it should be reduced, and if like the other traders this is halved then getting back 500 balth for one token seems fair enough.
If getting a return of the balth is not possible then introducing a trade option for the keys at 10 tokens per key woudl also seem fair.
I know some feel that it was a risk to put balth into tokens but what else were those gaining high amounts of balth to do with it? There is no point in letting it sit at maxed. My own limit has been reached 8 times since the introduction of tokens. Others that play PvP more frequently will have reached theirs far more. And the only way for me to have not have lost any balth faction before this update would have to have had maxed titles at HA, RA/TA and HB. my limit would then have been 175k, rather than 21k.
Letting us exchange tokens doesn;t harm anyone, it helps us to off load something we don't need.

if it was like 10 tokens to 1 key,then that'd be fair enough, as you pvp'd to have fun really,so stacks of tourni points should only really help tourni's.

/signed, personally I have almost 2k tokens, obviously thats more than enough for ATs, and I know others with more, and theres really nothing to do with them. Seeing as I only really pvp I would much prefer if you could exchange them for reward points as well as keys. I don't even see how this is debatable, I could care less about the pve economy, people that have spent millions of faction on these tokens with nothing else to spend it on deserve to get something for them. End of discussion.

No it should be 100 tokens per key if anything. You shouldn't get full return on faction same as those of us who put our faction points into useless skills we'd never use. I'd like to have those back. So, if they are giving token faction back then they'd have to give ALL faction back for those that spent the faction in a different direction. But, really they should just leave it like it is and everyone is on the SAME EQAUL LEVEL of getting new faction and trading them in for keys.
