Player Market
I dont think this was suggested before so here it goes:
So I played (a long time ago I might add) a game called KAL online which sucked , but it did have a good idea. You see people can open trades like in guild wars and have a economy just like the game we love BUT in case the players were in a bad mood and didnt want to bargain or were afk they had things called a player shop. What this did was you sat where you were and had a word on top of your head saying "SHOP" People could then go up to you click on the word and it would up a screen that showed all the items you were selling and the price where they either buy it or walk away.(The bad thing about this was that it was non-negotiable and that was the final price.) It also had another column showing a picture of the items they wanted to buy and if someone had it they could just sell it to them as easily as buying it. So theres my idea. The only down side is that i could make more people afk BUT the good side is that it would lighten up that heavy trade spam in LA KAEING and KAMADAN. so yeah
I really like the idea so there you go.
PS: I know someone suggested before about players opening up there own store where they just sold like beer or something. I guess its somewhat similar but whatevz

This gets suggested or thread necromancer'd about once a week. There's a 28+ page thread somewhere about this, but yeah, it's a good idea, and it has been stated by Anet that it won't happen for GW, but there is a very strong possibility in GW2.
(P.S. I believe the large thread with this idea is "The Xunlai Marketplace" or something like that.)

So... you're telling us you WANT to go and click on 100 ppl's icons to hopefully find the one person selling the elite elem tome you happen to need at that moment in time, then not be able to negotiate the price?
Let's just throw that idea in the trashcan.

Yeas, you are smart:
Xunlai Marketplace.
That's what we need.

I played a game called KoL which had a similar system to this. You would set up a stand but there would be like 8-10 icons showing your items. I think you could put up to like 20 items for sale but it would only show about 10 of the items above you. I loved it there was no hassle and noone trying to haggle down 500g, go afk for a bit and come back with your stuff sold . Hopefully this will be in GW2.
