age seperation by account
how about a age seperation for gw2 like for example 8-17 seperated from 18 and up done by account information. it sure would solve alotta headaches for players in the mature crowds.
and i know they wont do it for gw1 cause they are changeing enough things already unless they find time for it. but it would be great for gw2 at least.
i'm sure this post is going to get flamed by lil kids but everyone has their say at least.
if you support the idea just put: /signed
and if you oppose the idea just put: /unsigned
please no flaming
this is a legitimate idea.

It is possible but highly unlikely they would do it. Your best bet is still to simply kick out all immature people from your guild. Besides, immaturity is not linked to age, I've seen some 12yo behave better than some 30+ yo.

What about people who want to play together? You need to elaborate your idea (age districts, completely separate servers, what exactly?)
Anyhow, most of childish behavior i have seen was from 18+ people. You might be suprised by behaviour of those 18+ people in your seaprated world

You have to be 13 to play and 18 years old to own an account. Also ignore list is pretty good for those annoying folks.

there's no way to actually check the age of a person anyway, so what use would it have ?

/notsigned. Old doesn't mean mature, just like young doesn't mean immature. I've played with a 10 year old who was more mature than a 50yo in my guild.

We have a lot of mature people in our allaince and even more youngsters.
And it wouldnt be half the fun when they would be separated.
Sure there are youngsters that have problems with there ego and behaviors.
And yes there are lots of mature with the same problems...
Its a game,,,,,,,, its intended to be like this

I think you, and probably everyone else would rather have no immature people, that wouldn't be fixed by setting some sort of age limit (Since there's 25 year olds who act like they're 12, and 12 year olds who act like they're 25) That would be nice if they got rid of all the morons, but impossible.

1. A person's age doesn't always reflect their true maturity level.
2. Many people lie about their age when registering their accounts
3. Many parents establish accounts for their kids to play on.

I have friends of ages between 13 and 60 in the game.
And they are not immature at all.
You are the one that chooses the ones you join.

I've examined the behavior of people ingame and real life and come to a conclusion: maturity is NOT linked to age. Indeed a lot of the people I highly dislike just so happen to be adults.

As a lot of people has stated, age does not mean maturity (unless you're talking of the sexual kind, but that's neither here nor there). Also, it would be considered discrimination based off age, which is not right. I've a few friends who are, er, young, and they do act more mature than people I've seen here, including myself. So, as a lot of people before me, have done, I disagree to this, seeing as how (1) it's age discrimination, and (2) it wouldn't be fair to those who are actually mature.
But don't get me wrong: I can understand where the original poster is coming from; it's kind of difficult to enjoy a game when a bunch of immature animals bog down the Local chat when you're actually trying to have fun or enjoy a conversation.
