Borrow a friend's armour - the one you intend buying, and then dye it. The dye preview pops up with that armour on your character.

I wonder what would happen if you take a female's armor and dye it with a male character... or vice versa...

True, but sometimes it's hard to tell whether or not the armor will work based on a picture. GW has a pretty decent variety of hairstyles and colors.
Need I say more? I can't be seen in public without that stupid crown, which is a problem in itself.

Does that work with blindfolds?
If it does it solves an awefull lot of problems.
Thanks for the support!

Ah, the bi-weekly armor preview section. Same answer as always.

I think all PVE'rs want some real PVE features in GW like in other MMO's, but without a monthly fee.
GW2 is already becoming a WoW clone in some ways by borrowing a lot of traditional RPG elements to boost PVE play. This is a good thing because PVE in GW is crap.
/signed for this idea anyway, in GW2, armor should drop amd there should be an epic scale of items in PVE, but levels and armor / weapons should be capped for PVP like in GW1.
Better PVE without a negative impact on PVE is a good thing, even if it borrows ideas from WoW.

No because blindfolds are undyable. It works with any dyable items, and armor changes styles (in icons anyway) to deal with the current characters sex. Therefore you can preview female mesmer elegant (for example) on a male mesmer, but yoo will see it as the male armor.
Also works for weapons which are customized.
However, since this concept is already implemented, there is no reason not to put it on. Make it like a tailor, where u atleast semi put it on before you buy.

There's only so much information you can glean from the Wiki, even with the number of clones out there, it is unlikely that your own characters will match those in the armour preview pictures.
