I will sign anyway , but only if it doesnt drop everytime you clear fow like some of the other people said here, make it like a rare drop that drops from the Woe chest and it will be nice.

You sound like most people where they only want something added or changed so that they can get a lot of value out of it. Many people spend a couple hours every time to clear the Fissure of Woe, why not give them a reward besides a scroll, obsidian shard, and gold weapon?

Well, it would have to be done VERY carefully, otherwise you'd degrade FoW armor even more. I mean, if it only cost 5k to get FoW armor for a hero, it kinda defeats the point of you getting it for a few hundred.

I just don't trust a.net to make the drop rate low enough/don't trust the community to not flood the market with these

Make the FoW dyed black and let heroes have mo zing masks and chaos gloves too. Better make the henchmen that way too! Gogo clones!

For all the people who don't like the idea, you are free to have your opinion. But flaming the opinion is just immature.

Not only could this give PvE'rs something else to look forward to, but since many people here have asked about the GW:EN Heroes and how it would look for them, ANet could make this into another Contest.

They've already had 'Design-A-Weapon' Contests, why not a 'Design Hero FoW Armor' Contest?

Something to standardise the hero armour for all campaigns would be good and everyone can gain from this - how have heroe's of course.

I like this idea, but the armors should be modified a little bit to fit each character and their personality. Having similar copies between heroes or even other players would look kinda boring and wouldn't be much of a worthwhile reward.

I would only go for this if the material requirements were lowered more like the other sets of 15K armour 105 ecto and shards is little to much if you want hero armour it should be the same.I don't have set on any of my charactors.

Charactor armour
35 ecto/shards for chest
25 ecto/shards for legging
10 ecto/shards for arms
10 ecto/shards for feet

That is more realistic.

Ummmm, I wasn't talking about using any materials for this. The idea was to have armor remnants pop from the end chests of FoW and UW, which would be given to an NPC in return for some shiny new FoW armor for your selected hero. In other words, the same deal as is done with primeval and deldrimor armor remnants.

Would be fun to have this for heros, and your post made sense, I would never pay anywhere near 35e for hero armor, much less 80e.. ;P

And honestly even little add ons like the ninja masks and chaos gloves would be no big deal to me. It's not like everyone has to see your heros, if someone wanted to do all that whatever ;P

Good idea, but i doubt they will make any changes for gw1 anyway. Most of them work for Gw2.
