Yup. As it is currently. It is not only useless, it is also unfair.
If you are not in a guild, you have to get to the Signet Quest to buy Signets of Capture. But you can get them in the Guild Hall Trainer.
The Guild Hall Skill Trainer should:
- Teach all unlocked non-elite core skills.
- Teach all unlocked non-elite of the campaigns the current character owns and has traveled to. For example: You make sunspears in Kryta and get to Kamadan, you can buy unlocked Nightfall skills.
- Sell Capture signets only to character that has made their respective Capture Signet quests.

Guild Hall Skill Trainer
I know there are lots said about Guild Halls and such. But the trainer only deals with 6 professions. What about the other 4? Should I just be content to buy Caps at the skill trainer?

I'd like them to have every skill in the game so long as you have those campaigns unlocked.

This way all professions can visit the guild hall and get the main skills. And it would be way easier than going to kaineng or somewhere else.

I spent 100k as well, and cant do anything with my Dervish/Paragon! Character based unlocked skills from places you have visited (non-elite). It is frustrating when you want a skill, and you have to sail all over the place just to buy it, when you spent 100k to get him and all he does is stare me in the face!

For 100k, they should at least give it the four non-core professions. --;

We just discovered this thread the 'hard' way - we added a trainer and found because we have a Prophecies hall we can't buy Factions skills
As Anet are in the frame of mind to revise GW (and the Guilds and Halls in particular e.g. Guild Battles) to keep it fresh - can I suggest...
Lower the price of the trainer to 50k and have the trainer sell skills from each campaign (and perhaps release the individual halls from being 'based' in a campaign)
or
Lower the price of the trainer to 10k and have a trainer NPC from each campaign available to be bought (the artwork exists in each campaign).
Either option should be easy to code (though the latter may be easier) and the Skills needn't be core skills only (though obviously not Elite's). Of course, it should be easy to code the campaign recognition for a character so that you can only buy skills from the campaigns you have activated on the account too.

Lets not just leave it at prophesies and factions...lets make it ALL of them.
