Yeah, exactly. Honestly, PvE is too easy with all the overpowered PvE-only skills and consumables that there isn't a single pve title that is difficult to get imo. Shortening the grind would just make titles too quick easy to get.
Moar grind & challenge plz.

i dont like the OP's ideas at all, but some kind of pve only skills for heroes would be interesting. one thing that would be nice is a hero only "charge" like skill
"catch up fools"
shout (no skill point requirements)
hero only elite skill
5e 20r
for the next 30 seconds, all allies move 25% faster. all heroes stop fighting and follow the leader, and no heroes can glitch and run in the opposite direction for no apparent reason while under the effects of this shout.

The glaring problem with this is that it penalizes players for playing with other players.
Why would anyone add another player to their group if it meant losing out on a bounty?
I'm all for letting players play in any group configuration they want (read: full hero parties), but if you think Anet is going to actively discourage playing with humans, you are mistaken.

a) i didn't suggest skills that would make them more powerful in terms of game mechanics, nor making them able to use of other PvE-only skills ...
In fact, if people would take an assassin hero with 7 effective slots to get boost in title, lol, they would end up in less-than-optimal party setup. They would nerf themselves.
b) people with "giav moar ibma", gtfo.
c) there is not "am fah" nationality, she could be emperors stepsister for all we know about her origins. LOL @ nitpicking at least important point.
d) ty, trankle for actually doing some thinking.

c) Am Fah isn't a nationality, neither is Sunspear, Lightbringer, etc. They are factions and groups. Am Fah don't have monster only or PvE only skills, so they get nothing. Same with Dragon Empire NPCs.
d) I also did some thinking -_-"
The concept of hero skills, or heroes getting pve/monster skills I like, and it does make sense. People only like it for the "balance" but that is easily fixed with a set scale for the skills. Like I said before, I /don't sign for your ideas *that is, the second half of your suggestions*, but /sign for the concept, and I think my thread (posted a link in last post) is a bit more detailed with what heroes get what, and at what rank.

Well, my "fix" to balance would be make those skills non-combat variety, thus not disrupting intended difficulty of game.

Jora should get the same Bear Form skill all the Norn NPCs have.
