this is epic threadz lol.
edit:
and to add something useful to my post. They can also integrate minipets as a mule. Like a mobile xunlai chest w/ "very limited" slots (for those that will complain about it being easy and stuff! Its a game!!!)

I like this idea very much. At least i see some use of the mini instead of just "showing off" to others.

Lol! Imagine eight mini's all running for that 100g drop. Then some more drop and you see the eight run to those. It'd be quite amusing!
Also, "Storm Djinn has picked up 100g. Your party shares 100g."
Anyways,

And it would be fun to also have a counter which maintains the amount of gold that the mini has picked up.

Mizuhara has dropped 100k. Temple Guardian picks up 100k. ..Repeat till counter reads infinity.

*On the condition that the mini gets a party member's share of the gold and is unredeemable by its owner (the way heros/henchmen work). Functions as another gold sink too for in game e-peeners. Win-win.
**Gold counter resets should mini be traded. Can you imagine spamadan, "wts leet panda with 876bazillion gold counter read".
***No to items, as someone already stated, that would be annoying.
****No control interface for mini to pick up rares when you're dead. A rare drops and you're dead? Tough shite, free game for anyone else, always loved this. Dead=undeserving.

/signed. This idea is pure win! It makes something practical out of a totally useless game addition. I approve.

Yeah, I will sign up for turning mini pets into a "Bling Knome." I can only hope Lindsy will make it happen.

Usually I don't bother picking my drops, this sounds like good idea to me.

You mean the "Bling Gnome" that picks stuff around in Dungeon Runners?
That thing is funny.
And some of the miniatures use human animations, so it would be even funnier to see then kneeling to pick stuff that is taller than them.
