I would rather have them bite ankles and cripple the ennemies but picking up gold is nice too. But only gold, no item.

I'd like this but I think it would make life easier for the botters, less for them to code or whatever.
That's why I think it will never happen

Would be nice, but then Minipets should be invincible and not die from AoE-damage.

And make them pick other items , make a little window where you can choose what types of items the mini pet should pick up.

Have them p/u gold and items...w/o aggroing groups. You'd still have the option of opening inv and dropping what you dont want. (ankle biting is good too!! RAWR!)

Yeah, because from what I've seen in other games, it's easy to notice a bot if he does something too fast, like when a monster drops expensive thing (for example, a gold weapon or an ecto) it stops whatever it's doing/attacking and picks up. Unless stated otherwise in bot script, but even then it usually picks up drops very fast. Sometimes bots get caught just because of that, nobody has to PM them to check.
But still, /signed. Would be a great help, even if I would pick up junk to salvage.

Edit - No items! While picking up gold wouldn't unbalance the game picking up items would, not to mention you may not always have room or want to waste room on whites or non max items.

/not signed why make everyone more lazy than they already are. Its not hard to click the item or gold once to pick it up, you don't even have to click on them just after a battle press ; (semi-colon) and then space and repeat till u have picked up all you items, always bring a normal salvage kit mats are one of the hot things at the time. In closing, if your really that lazy pay 70-90 bucks for a G15 Keyboard and use a macro to pick up all your drops. Thnx

Its not like picking up drops is hard to begin with so we can get some convenicence features.
hell, some games have "pick all nearby drops" key and it works nice.

Bots don't even need "fast reaction time" to pick up items. Use the ";" key to target nearest object and then hit spacebar and you can pick up items incrediably quickly too.
There are interface options already available such as that that make this game very easy to perform certain functions. People just don't know about them. Rather then requesting minipets get a function, I suggest people just learn how to use the existing interface to its full efficiency.

Some people are forgetting the purpose of this function is to give mini pets a practical but not unbalancing purpose.

It's not because I'm lazy... It's because I want minis to have a purpose besides looking pretty. It'll also give people incentive to remember to bring them out.
lol at the people who are already whining about it. Maybe reread the original post and see that he just wants a function for minis.
By the way... NO, they should NOT pick up items. That would be annoying.

Look part of the "whinning" comes from the fact that this idea has been suggested like 8 times. Yes, we know people want minis to have some sort of non-vital functionality, but it's still stupid.

If picking up gold automatically is important to ppl, why should it be necessary to have a pet for it to happen?
