hell.ive yet to find a truly rare or unique item on guildwars.
i mean stat wise they dont vary at all.
i think they should rethink the prefixes and suffixes all together
make a rare item..rare(with stats your not gonna find on a blue item you bought from a collector)
they only difference between a random r9 gold axe and a r9 pyro axe is the look and thats it(along with the price tag)
like increase the prefixes and suffixes on rare items (2 of each for rares/1 of each for purples)
a r9 vs might be worth a lot...but it aint any more different then the other multitude
of identical overly farmed items
as far as making new weaps hard to farm,anet can do that if it wants...but a team will go into any area of the game and massacre it..as long as they are organized and built for the area,and there isnt..and wont be an area 8 players cant dominate and overfarm

Hell no. That just makes the entire game like Prophecies but worse, and Prophecies sucks ass already when it comes to bosses ("this boss can spawn in X number of places, but might not spawn at any of them! And did I mention you need to slog through a few other zones to get here? *awesome face*")

Indeed, which makes it really annoying when "skin you like" and "skin worth 100k+" overlap...

Sorry. This game is based on balance, easy to aquire max equipmanet, and a low level cap so that everyone is on the same footing.

you may not like prophecies for whatever reasons but it just sounds like your complaining about how "hard" it is to find bosses. furthermore its not hard to find the green dropping bosses anywhere. they never move, there attitudes and movements are always the same. Thats why they get overfarmed and have ZERO value. Even the hard to get to bosses "WINK" urgoz, deep for example are a joke now.
All i was saying is what if.. just what if scareater all of a sudden went away. would or would not the green "scareater" increase in value? If you need to go through 2-4 zones to get to that boss then thats where you must go. and i didnt say they should NOT be there. i was just saying they need to be off the beaten path.
either way nearly all gold and greens are a joke do to the ease of aquisition. except a few, actually i can only think of one. silverwing and maybe dryad? maybe not even those, there may be running builds for those as well.
BTW prophecies rules!!!!

i think a Design a Weapon set is in order. so then Factions and Prophecies have full sets that can be added to the hall of monuments.
