Gold Selling and XH Reward Pts.
Why do ppl buy gold? To artificially enhance their e-peen? or is it the title grind? (perhaps the same thing...)
To stop trade in illegal stuff like in game stuff for real money, you have to stem the demand. I have an idea to reduce gold selling and improve the bottom line for ANet. Reward ppl who buy more copies of GW by offering more RP each month for each account. That way ppl give their money to GW rather than the offshore gold bot operations. First of all, you need to get the RP to the accounts on a reliable basis last month was <fail>.
Anyway this may already be the idea behind RP in the first place but IDK i think it makes sense.
Rethink... not fair more money larger e-peen.

Can't stop the gold buying/selling. Doesn't effect you in anyway, so just let them get on with it.

Isn't it exactly like that right now? What do you want to change?
You can already buy many accounts and get XTH reward points for each of them. Lots of free money every month.

If GW was a gear based game then money would have a slight bearing, as it is not, money means nothing. Let people buy gold, it doesn't make them better.

one thing i have thought about its that ppl don't want to work to get the cash so ppl will buy gold, so why not have anet sell it, they can make money off of it and hopefully spend that working on gw

Fortunatly, Anet makes sure that you can easily afford anything that is essential to make you a fully functioning person in GW anything else is just cosmetic.

Because GW isn't a gear based game. If it was, they most likely would offer some kind of cash shop.

Buying gold in GW accomplishes nothing more than slightly nicer looking graphics and I really don't see the problem with it. Its not like you can get better weapons or stronger armour and give yourself an unfair advantage when playing against others.
I ran all my characters on collecters armour/items (and some still are) until I bought what I thought was a nicer skins but if I only played a few hours a week and wanted nicer shiney pixles on my game while i played then i wouldnt see a problem in buying gold to achieve that.
Anet should look into selling gold for GW , there's a market for it and they won't ever stop the gold sellers from expoiting it so they'd be aswell making the money for themselves.

one thing ur forgetting is that RMT inflates the prices of items in the game economy because it promotes botting for the RMT companies, leading in a much bigger influx of in game cash, and raises the prices of objects for everyone else that doesnt buy from an RMT. bidding for items then becomes a case of who has a credit card. just think about how much high end items inflated after the duping incident. the same thing happens if RMT runs rampant.

I didn't forget it , I ignored it since I don't think its true for 99% of the GW items or particularly relevant for the other 1% . People have been buying money since GW was released and prices of most items in GW do nothing but defate due to the constantly inceasing quantity. The only exceptions to this are a few dozen specialist items like panda's which are going to be out of reach for 99% of the GW populace no matter what their cost, 50 armbraces or 2000 armbraces makes no odds to most people

The only thing that money gets you in GW is an 'Elite' skinned armor or a Rare weapon skin.
Obsidian Armor functions the same as the equivalent Droknar's Forge/Kaineng City/Consulate Docks armor, and a req9 15^stance, 3/-1, +30hp Crystalline functions the same as *ANY* req9 15^stance, 3/-1,+30hp Sword.
If you want flash, get cash (however it is you do it... farm, eBay, powertrade... it's your call; if you eBay it, ANet has already told you what's going to happen to your account... don't blame anyone but yourself), if you don't care about the wrapping paper, your ugly-as-sin Spiked Axe does the same thing as that other person's Tormented Axe, your simple collector shield has the same stats and functionality as that Draconic Aegis, and your armor protects you just as well as that craptastic Obby Armor that person B just eBay'd.
If you can't live with the fact that other people have either farmed or eBay'd or powertraded that one lucky drop all the way to having Rarer/Better items than you, hit ALT+[F4], type C:/ uninstall C:/ProgramFiles/GuildWars, run to the bathroom, and use the /slitwrist command.
ANet is not going to offer Gold-purchasing options in the in-game store. It was said earlier in this post: anything that you can access to have an advantage in-game can ALREADY BE BOUGHT at the in-game store or on your PlayNCSoft account.
Deal with it.

I don't get this one. Gold selling/buying is ellegal now, everyone knows that. Your idea simply makes it legal because then Anet is selling the gold. This can't be a good idea, just leave it the way it is.

No frenzy is good and would make that bar far better.
The wammo's were not the playerbase that started frenzy-healsig. Their mindset is on invulerable tank, so they never use frenzy, double damage is so bad.

what i always found so funny about frenzy healsig is that they are the 2 first warrior skills that you get in pre searing which is probolly why the joke has lasted for so long in guildwars

Not a lawyer but as I understand it , its not illegal in any way, shape or form but it is against the EULA which is why you get banned for doing it.
Blizzard is fairly active in trying to shut gold selling down but they are , from what ive read over previous months , suing botsellers for player harrasment rather than for selling their Gold. No idea if any other games companies have followed the civil court route as Blizzard have done.
As it is , it's fairly easy to get ingame gold in GW . I play 2-3 hours a day at most and have more money that I can probably ever spend so it's not a sevice I need but it's not something that bothers me at all if someone else does.
As for Anet selling it , It was purely an observational point that they wont stop it from occuring , its obviously a service that people want so why not profit themselves.
