Wait between GW:EN and GW2.. Lets kick it up a notch!
As we all know GW:EN came out and was amazing. It added a lot of new features into the game that everybody was very happy with. Well GW2 news was already leaking out and people began the wait for GW2. Its been what over a year now and we still have no GW 2?
Now what a lot of people are doing now is just title grinding or going for armor that they won't be able to put in their HoM. Well what happens when you don't want to grind for titles you don't want, or when you refuse to spend 75 Ectos on a pair of gloves that you can't put in your hall? The game becomes a bit boring.
Think about it. You have School/Job during the day. You can't stay on that long anyways during the week and your weekends are filled up. Well the most you want to do is get the Protectors and Guardians for all the Campaigns. And after that, your reputation titles. To be honest. It's not that fun after you keep farming the same spots for points. Now don't you think we need a little something different?
My friends and I have proposed that we push Anet for a new update like GW:EN. I would like to think that there is going to be something to keep the players entertained between now and GW2. I would like to see unused area's of the map used. This does not mean that you have to make it affect the Cartographer Title, you can simply make a separate mini title.Examples Below.
Example: There's more than enough space in Cantha to fill up for an expansion. Use the unused areas of the Campaigns to make new a mini storyline like that of GW:EN
Example: Cantha has a lot of unused area. Lets say you open up the areas south of what is already in use. Such a Cartography title might be: Southern Canthan Cartographer. Are you follwing me?
Also Regarding the HoM I think that we should be able to place individual armor pieces such as: Chaos, Dragon, And Stone Gloves, and the other armor pieces that were introduced in GW:EN. As for weapons maybe even add all the Greens. It would be a nice thing to pass on to GW2.
Well I've added my two suggestions for the day. Now if you'll excuse me I must go outside and watch the 2nd to last Shuttle Launch. ( Yes I live by the Space Center) ( Yes its going to light up the night sky like its day all over again.)

Been suggested. Won't happen. Why? Because it would:
1) Take time away from GW2 development (which recent talk makes it seem like there is very good progress on GW2, they are just keeping a tight lip).
2) ANet said they won't do more expansion.
3) If there will be new content, it will be in a Monthly Update - no bigger then the Sorrow's Furnace update.
Personally, I hope ANet will continue the "Mysterious Stranger" thing that they started with M.O.X. by adding small quests/missions that will eventually add up to a Sorrow's Furnace-sized series of updates.

A) GW2 was announced before EoTN was. Only reason its expansion status was accepted rather then incessant demands for Utopia to be released instead.
B) Push, demand, rant all you want. But as there is now only one dev actively working on GW1 content, asking for anything the size of EoTN is just not going to happen.
C) HoM changes are coming(though what is changed is anyone's guess). Just give them a breather for pushing out the titles update.

I enjoy it a lot. the stone summit has always been my favorite enemies and I just love playing in the first true 'drungeon' of the game (FoW and Uw don't count to me lol)
The only problem is if you are doing it for a reward that is equal to the time spent, you will be sadly disapointed. Wish it had a chest or something.
Wanna do a new thing for the hell of it? yeah SF is great, looking for money? no not really....there is a nifty HoM statue for it though.

It wouldnt really be worth it on Anet's part though because it would take several months to develop just to have people get bored of it in a week and complain that it wasnt long enough.

It would be nice but I'd rather time was spent on GW2 to get it done asap.
Been thinking about giving Spore a shot while waiting. That or finally get around to cleaning up inventory......hmmmm, Spore is lookin better all the time :P

your argument is counter-intuative. We've been waiting forever for GW2, so lets take away developers from it so that we can wait longer.

Why the hell didn't my sarcasm detector brake?!
While I LOVE Factions and adding more content into GW1 is probably the only way to save it - they should just focus on GW2.
The best thing they can do now is hope that GW's organs will help GW2 live long and prosperous.

There is already far progress on GW2. Arround the internet some comments have slipped on testing and the like.
As for HOM; they've already mentioned they arent going to change it till the HOM on GW2 is finalized. Cant find the quote atm, but it seems the implementation of the monument in GW2 will decide how the current monument will change.
