Increase in some titles
Because of the update, there has been a lot of QQing about how people worked so hard to get their savior allegience ranks and how it is so much easier now. My idea is to add more ranks; the max will still be at r12, and it will still be savior, but after that, if people donate more faction, they can be r13 and still have the savior title. Basically, under their name they'll have "Savior of the _____ (13)" and up for however much extra faction they donated (at levels that increase as the other levels of the title normally do), showing that they've done more than those who just have r12. After a certain point, there could be a constant difference between the levels, or just a higher cap for the title. The pve skills associated will still have their effects as if you were r12; they wouldn't be getting stronger at all.
Edit: R12 would still be considered max, would still count for GWAMM, etc. It would still be easier to obtain because of the update. The difference is that people who already did it get some credit now.
(This is NOT intended for PvE titles, since faction still has a purpose after gaining r12 allegience (donations &c.). There's no point in farming norn points when you're r10.)

Never ever!
I do not feel pity for people who decided to waste their time on grind. It was their choice. I do not feel it is a good idea to impose now this grind on others.

I feel sorry for the brain of whoever did that.
So pointless, it is beyond comprehension why anyone would have done such a thing.
The whole point of the update was to make certain titles (Wisdom, Treasure, Allegience) easier to obtain. We dont need to change them again to make them harder, the GW PVE community has been asking for these changes for years now.

Very good idea'!
"More than max" ideology always gets my full support.
For Kurzick / Luxon titles - You are still a max, named Savior of the ~Faction (12+), you don't get any benefits over the rank 12 except a higher displayed number. Something great for the AB hardcores that get that sudden lack of motivation to play after reaching r12.
But what could be the the faction levels for ranks 13 and up? I think it shouldn't be constant, or get that only at extreme high levels. Example:
(13) - 15M - realistic for current r12s that will keep playing
(14) - 20M - attainable for the most hardcore ones after several months
(15) - 30M - what's other game modes?
(16) - 40M - what's real life?
(17) - 50M - 0-1 people will get that before GW2 (2010)
(18+) .. +10M - for teh lulz
If it was too low and/or constant we could see a bunch of r13-17 players after several months, and I don't think such a wide spread would look good at that high levels. So maybe ranks at say 15M, 23M, 35M, 50M, 75M... would be better. It shouldn't be something to desperately grind for but just a nice bonus for the most dedicated AB players (now also FA/JQ after buffs).
___
And what other titles could benefit from going above the max?
-Legendary Hero (16+) - keep playing star and loof!
-GWAMM (7) @35 (8) @40, good luck
-pure grind titles shouldn't get that, it would be nonsense. So no pve rep titles, no more survivor, no consumable titles.
-Treasure Hunter and Wisdom - may be acceptable (no increased %s obv)
-Cartographer - I want a 103% Tyrian! I did a 100% and had a massive part still uncovered! ...lol ok, I know its a bad idea xD
-LDoA(3) - get to 1,337,500xp in Pre! rofl
-ok lets stop nonsense, nothing good to add here...
Now a serious obligatory /SIGNED for the Kurzick / Luxon (13+)

/not signed.
Just because they implemented new ways to gain faction does not mean that there's no grind involved. People without he max Kurzick/luxon titles STILL have to go out and farm the points. And they have to show more skill doing it the new ways than learning where to plant flags on the map.

No.
Alliegance titles are hybrid titles they are both Grind PvE and PvP titles.
It's normal for them being easier and easier over time, like all PvE titles.
Yet they are still the slowest ones, being part PvP.
It's perfectly fine as it is.

well its true pve community has been complaining about how hard the game is and how lazy they are to try to create some sort of synergy to beat it, but i dont think they have been asking for title changes for years. that would be improbable

People have been asking for account wide treasure and wisdom titles since they were first put into the game. I know because I have. And not many people have actually asked for the game to made easier, I dont remember seeing and suggestion threads for imba PVE skills or consumables, the only real reason why these were added to the game was to encourage group play, yet if you actually try to pug, you will came across far many more players that dont use PVE only skills then players that do use them.
Also, cheapening titles and reducing the grind required doesnt actually make the game any easier, unless amount of time played to grind = difficulty, which it doesnt.
Anet chose to ruin the game themselves by putting in consumables and PVE only skills, which I have always opposed since they were added to the game. They did this because they used to fail at balancing skills without destroying them for PVE use. They simply should have seperated PVP and PVE a lot sooner, and hired a better skill balancer.
