More Celebration Events
It was a very nice surprise that Arena Net Gave us International Talk like a Pirate Day's treat, thank you! I hope it will be repeated next year.
please, maybe Arena Net could use one of these excuses to pampers their loyal players, hehehe, I know its a little far fetch but it would really be very nice if all these speacial days have an event! not all, maybe a couple more! and I've found a list of special notable "days" for Arena Net to consider.
Oh, lastly 2008 is International Year of the Frog, The Frog is a very special icon to the Guild Wars community, Hint Hint maybe a celebration of some kind to go with that?

we already had a celebration about the frog...it was Gaile's going away thing. It wasn't specifically about Year of the Frog...but you can say it sufficed. I got 4500 party points from that weekend alone. It was good.
You also have thanksgiving being given a weekend with pumpkin pies and hard apple cider, then wintersday for 2 weeks likely as halloween was.....
There could be more and I'm not complaining but you're asking for sweets, party items and alcohol to be obtainable on a very regular basis, making sweettooth, party animal and drunkard titles lose their prestige. I'm on the fence about this. The farm junkie in me screams YES but the honorable-method title hunter in me gives a subdued nah.

I want to have the Day of the Tengu brought back. (of course, the b-day thing is on the same day)
So
/signed
Each month should get their own bit event, would keep people a lot more interested then crowding 3 at the end/beginning of the year and having 2 in the middle of the year.
WTB Guy Fawkes Day Event (although time wise, Rememberance Day would probably fit dates better - we can have an event about GW's History!)
And of course, we can always go with GW-only events - such as Joko's birthday/return to power, or annual remembrance of Togo's death. etc. etc.

I've maxed out the 3 titles you're mentioning here and I don't think there's any 'prestige' in them. Also I don't mind if other people get these titles maxed. I say /signed just for the fun of having more special events

Having 'special' events more often makes them less 'special'. Although I'd love to have more chances at items for title points, I think I enjoy the events more when they are 'special'.

While I wouldn't be OPPOSED to a few more special events, at the same time I don't want them to go overboard. One every month or so which is where we are now is fine. I wouldn't mind if they add in a few more down the line (Valentine's day?) but don't overdo it.

/unsigned. Its like asking the world to create more holidays. We have enough. The events are special because they happen once a year and are actually special events. Gaile leaving, the stretch of events from Halloween-Thanksgiving-Wintersday-New Years. We can't just make up random events to have, it takes the meaning out of it. Its just going to turn into "oh, its just "X" event" down the road. The hype will die down and it will be worthless.

Horrible poll options.
I like events as much as the next person, but I'm under no delusions about how feasible they are.
Do I want more events? Maybe. If they're not so common that they become boring. Do I have other things I'd prefer to see the developers working on? Certainly. Do I think the team for Guild Wars 1 is large enough that they can do an event every month? Doubtful.

Agreed. I "like" events, I just don't want more of them (and thus voted "other"). See kids, this is why math and statistics teachers will tell you that the way you word a poll is important.

Add "Day of Ninja" to the list. December 6th.
Durin such a celebration, most NPCs in the port cities should disappear, leaving only their names behind (transparent models), and the most important ones would look like different types of assassins through the game (Togo's Mission, Shing Jea Assassin, Outcasts, etc...)
The drops could be "Ninja food pills"(+2Health regeneration and +2 Energy regeneration for 5 minutes) and "Ninja scrolls" (All enemies in the area take 100 damage of one random type: Earth, Cold, Lightning, Fire, Chaos, Dark or Holy).
I don't care about the rest. If they add a pirate day, a ninja day is a must.

If they are going to add more events, I'd like to see some more specific to the cultures that Factions and Nightfall represents.

I'd like to see more events for the first half of the year. There's the Canthan New Year in February, the birthday celebration in April, and then nothing until the little string of events starting in June. I don't want a whole lot of them, just maybe one more festival like what Ryker suggested -- celebrating the culture of Istan or something.

the way U formed the questions in the poll is quite disturbing since ppl can have different reasons for NOT supporting the idea of more events happening in GW (like bad for economy). Others than just disapproval for them.
Out of the topic:
I'd vote for the festival hats to be like regular headgear (increase their cost to 1k and lvl requirement to 20) and make them widely usable.

Would be nice to have more festivals. Would be funny if Anet made a title of how many festivals you attended LOL.
