About 90% of the PvP population will never get enough Reward Points for Obsidian Armor. You don't just make a PvP character and POOF! you have access to all the armors.
It takes a lot of skill to get enough RPs for Exotic Armor. It takes a lot of time and grinding to get enough money for High-End armor.
As many people have already said, "It balances out".

/signed because people who make a ton of rps could just go buy the chaos gloves by selling z keys. It's not too tough to farm ectos with all those big buffs to the pve side of the game don't see why pve'ers think they deserve chaos gloves because they farm mindlessly for ectos. RPS doesn't come too fast for an average PvPer so I would imagine you would have to work hard for it.

I think it would be great if these items could be unlocked for pvp players as long as they were unlocked by obtaining them on a pve character....so if you got it on one PvE character it would be unlocked for use with any of your PvP characters. All items and armors should be able to be unlocked in this way for use in PvP. Tourney reward points are okay for unlocking too as long as they are consistant with the amount of time people put into unlocking this stuff in PvE. Adding an unlock like I suggested just allows those that have actually earned the item in PvE not to have to earn it again in to use on a PvP character.

Honestly, it would not hurt my feelings in the slightest if PvErs could get a special trim cape to acknowledge the accomplishment of lack of a better example: Legendary Guardian. I'm good with it.
I hope that answers your question.

Tell me something in PvE that is just as difficult as winning a MAT? I certainly can't think of any. If you do find something, then I will gladly agree with this.

Try and win a mAT. Is there anything as difficult in Guild Wars PvE as defeating a top guild in GVG?
Let KOABD have an /emote, I don't care.
Why do you care that PvPers can get high-end PvE skins?
The base PvP armor can be obtained in PvE, as can base PvE skins.

Bonhart, pvp was never meant to be equal to PvE, that's why PvP characters get the 'J' item creation and account wide unlocks. I don't agree with PvP even having fancy skins to unlock. You get tormented weapons by delving into the Domain of Anguish and sticking it to the bad guys, not by handing points to a zaishen guy who magically makes these things appear.
PvP is for PvP, if you want anything else buy a campaign, get some motivation and welcome to Guild Wars.
EDIT: Ya, PvP is difficult, that's why you get cape trims, gladiator titles, golden Deer, Lions and Phoenixs oh my, etc. while PvErs and average PvPers DO NOT. High end weapons and armor are for everyone else.
PvP:
-Uber Leet flashy animals and fancy capes that outweigh the meaning of any 15k armor set.
-Press J for perfect gear, lol
PvE:
-fancy weapons and armor.
-buying skills and mods for EVERY character and piece of armor/weapons.
Frankly, PvPers have plenty of recognition and PvE doesn't have enough, now that everyone thinks high end armor = ursan ursan ursan!
Bottom line is you can't have everything. Just like how PvE can't have everything.

You still fail to state, like anyone else who disagrees with this, how giving PvP players a chance to unlock PvE items hurts the game. The only reason you give is "Well, you should play PvE to get PvE items like I did", which really doesn't make any sense since almost every other PvE item is obtainable through PvP.

Hurting the game? No. That's completely irrelevant and not a point of the original topic, and isn't required to disagree. I'm saying PvE is PvE and yeah, if you want PvE content you need to play PvE. That's how the game was designed and should stay. If i want /rank, than I need to PvP.

I don't care.
The Kurzick/Luxon title is a PvP title obtainable by mindlessly grinding the same pve quests.
Chaos gloves are a pve item that should be obtainable by mindlessly grinding out the same PvP tournament.

In that case why don't you go make a thread petitioning the removal of PvE armoursets and weapons being obtainable in PvP?

1 special gold emote shouldn't be something that raises this whole "BAWWW" stinkfest. It grants no bonus, and is kind of stupid, when it all boils down. BTW, No one is forcing you to get a bambi, it's just something you think would elevate your status in the game, and would probably end up showing off to all your friends in Kamadan. I /sign every God-forsaken "ZOMG GIVE KOABD AN EMOTE ELITIST PVPERZZZZZZ" thread that pops up on a weekly basis just so it may be possible for the PvE community to stop incessantly whining.
Go start a thread to remove all PvE-item rewards from PvP.

Why are people talking about K/L titles?
And i don't play too much anymore, but since when are they PvP titles? I thought people considered AB and aspendwood PvE? The Fact that there is an entire campaign based around them must not affect that either. lewlz

I believe the only reason people call it PvE is becasue players there are often as stupid as this game's AI. Logically, it is PvP.
