Increase AB faction
After the update AB has been one of the least efficient ways of gaining faction, AB has always seemed to be the main attraction of the whole Kurz vs Luxon thing and should give a decent amount of faction. I would suggest to at least double it, 3-5k for per ab seems reasonable but those numbers are subject to change.

Anyway, I actually agree. You get more faction per time spent when you're vanquishing than when you do doing AB. I suppose AB needs more reworks than just this. Maybe I'd prefer to see new maps and new tactics/mechanics for winning (such as kill count, shrine cap, king of the hill, whatever) before the basic rewards were adjusted.

The recent increase in faction from AB was so minor that I couldn't notice any difference, so have to /agree here. However, I would like to suggest a specific mechanism instead of just multiplying the final rewards:
For every successful conversion of a shrine (i.e., capping a shrine previously held by the opposite side) players on the capping side receive a reward of 50 faction (i.e., all 12 players, not just the ones who cap the shrine).
This would provide around 500-1000 points of additional faction per match and promote smart play.

The attraction for AB is that you also get baltazar faction, it doesn't need an increase

Not needed...amount of factions is gd as it is...those ab mods could be nice...and maybe it is just me...but I would ike that anet makes titles harder to get not easier, so that they really really mean something (yes there already are titles that are hard to get, hoping it will stay like that)

Its not about making the titles easier to get, its about balancing out the methods of getting them. Why bother making 15k faction an hour (made up number), when you can get 27k faction an hour (vanq)?

This update further degraded the faction titles.
Since the beginning of the Z title, there has been a massive increase in Pve players coming into AB just to farm balth & faction through bad game play, leeching and suiciding, especially on double point weekends.
I don't think losing teams should get double faction on these weekends.
This may avert making AB unplayable during these weekends.
Was the intention of this update to make it actually easier for people to ff through vanquishing than to even play AB at all?
So yes, l agree, faction rewards should be increased for AB. Its way out of balance now.

I saw the title, can't believe someone would ask something like that after the decent update. Then I thought I'd give this a chance and read it so maybe there's more to it than what I thought. There wasn't.
So now, I ask this... Please drop this! Anet was generous enough to give us an increase already, quit pushing for more! It's like a rambling baby demanding more sweets if you keep asking for a faction gain increase! We don't want to stress them out anyways. The new faction gain is good. LEAVE IT. Besides, the weekends of double faction gain will do just that. DOUBLE! As if we are gaining a lot more than what we used to already. Anet gave us the gift already! Don't ask for another of the same gift!
I'd ramble on, but I don't have anything else to say about it right now. Maybe I'll continue when the words come up. UNLESS the mods close this before I get a chance to. (hint, hint, mods)

No rambling here, just clarifying.
Are you actually saying you agree its better to gain faction through vanquishing than playing AB for the title or did l read this incorrectly.
This was a Pvp title yes?
Apparently anet did this to discourage FFF, and thats certainly a positive.
However, raising vanquish bonuses to more than gained from actually playing AB certainly isn't.
Already people are farming the title through vanquishing.
Vanquishing is boring, l went for this title because l enjoy playing the game against other players.
Now l'm looking at being outranked by people who have started repeatedly vanquish farming in our guild. Certainly none of them were FFF before.
I'm now doing HA because AB just seems pointless now.

especially when you have to re-vanquish an area over and over and over and over and over and over and over again to get anywhere in the title track. I vanquished the entire Jade sea and only went from rank 4 to rank 6.
But its still better than going back and redoing all the missions over and over and over and over which i have already done with all of my characters before the update.
But at least there is no grind

Tell me about it. I tried to vanquish Shattered Ravines, after 100 mobs (h/h with modded discordway + caster henches + my melee manly ranger) I've found 4 spawns with a LOT of mobs. And I gave up, because it's too boring... Not hard, I had near-wipe only once because I aggroed a large group of undead outside of wurm even if I had to use wurm. But they attacked me as soon as I got to the wormsy.

How much was AB used anyway for faction? Everyone did FFF or HFFF runs..... Many people gave up on AB because of all the waiting. Perhaps the new rewards were to balance it out more so all can gain.
PvP sucks and doesnt reward players, gaining faction only aint much. Vanquishing gives at least other things too.
The last AB I did 2 days ago we wont and I got 1500 Kurz for it for winning.... I know I wont go there again as 15 minutes of play and waiting for that didnt mean was worth it.

It's pretty ridiculous how FA now gives more Faction than AB does.
So yes, AB rewards should be increased to scale up with the increased FA rewards.
As for the 'give them an inch and they want a mile' statement: the Kurz/Lux title still takes ludicrous amounts of hours of grinding to max even with all the changes it's ever received.
Therefore it still needs a lot more work done on it til that grind becomes reasonable. Either by increasing Faction rewards across the board, or cutting the amount of Faction needed for maxing the title (making the max 5 mill faction would be reasonable).

Why is it ridiculous? Just because you are used to it being the other way around?
They are both low tier forms of PvPvE. Besides influencing the faction boarder line (which is pretty meaningless) AB is not special.
